The past few weeks have been gloomy,Jay going through the same stage every person who lost someone went through
He lost his light,but Jungwon is determined to gave him his light back
That's why he stayed by Jay every second and every minute
Jay stayed by his side when he went through a thunderstorm and it's now his time to return the favour
One night they stayed on top of the building at the rooftop,side by side just peacefully looking up at the moon
Jungwon stares at Jay who was peacefully smiling
"What's so funny?"he ask
"You know,i will be dead in a few years too"Jay snickered
"Jay.."Jungwon carefully speak
"No it fine Wonie it's totally natural,maybe I'll even check in here, promise me you'll give me the best suite"Jay smiled cheekily at Jungwon
"You dumbo"Jungwon smack Jay's head and came to hug him
Jay was surprised but he hugged Jungwon back
"Thank you"Jay whispered his voice wavering
"You're welcome"Jungwon smiled
"I might not have a chance again but i need you to hear this"Jay retreats a bit back but his hand still hold Jungwon's
"What is it Jay?"Jungwon asks curiously
"Wonie I....." He gulps
"I love you"
He closed his eyes due to embarassment,after a while of processing all the outcome he opened his eyes at the sound of Jungwon's laughing
"I know"Jungwon laugh "i love you too hyung"
Jay smile fell
"Oh!i have to go now,see you later"Jungwon quickly turns and walk away leaving Jay with the chilling wind of the moonlit night
Jungwon will only thought of him as a hyung,a friend whom he relied on,a brother who know him inside and out
Jay heart sank but he's prepared for this outcome,Jungwon think of him like his brother,Jungwon trust him and Jungwon found comfort in him,so why does it hurts so much?
But he's not completely right either because Jungwon meant what he's said too,he meant every word,he left too with a broken heart,careful not to show the tear that managed to fall knowing for a fact that he could never be with Jay, he's not a normal being, he's gonna leave this world sooner or later,and he would prefer not hurting Jay when it happens
Because no matter how painful it is,he would still choose Jay's happiness over his own
Okay just so you know we're currently in the ending arc of this story,i hope you're prepared to say goodbye to this, I'm not but still🥲
