"Seungcheol-are you nuts!?"

Despite hearing his best friend, Soonyoung call after him, Seungcheol quickly went into his dorm and packed his things.

He threw all of his shirts, hoodies, jackets, sweaters, pants, socks, all of his belongings into one large suitcase. Soonyoung dashed in the hallway, almost missing the dorm room but managing to grab onto the doorway.

"You're really quitting?" Soonyoung asked in disbelief, his breath heavy after all of the chasing. "Is it because of her? I thought you said you were okay and that it wouldn't affect you! It's been a month, Cheol," Soonyoung looked at Seungcheol desperately but he only continued packing. "It's been two months. You know how she is now, she's happier."

Seungcheol closed his eyes for a brief moment to exhale. He clenched onto a sweater, which was one that she bought for him. Ever since returning to Korea, the scent of the sweater that was lost on foreign land came back.

"Do you know why I kept doing Taekwondo?"
It was all over now, Seungcheol thought.

"For money. I only needed money for one thing and it was to fund her online shop. There was no other way for an idiot like me to earn money. Aside from that, taekwondo is absolutely-" He paused for a moment and opened his eyes again. "It's absolutely useless to me."

Footsteps echoed through the dormitory hallways. It wasn't the clicking of high-heels but the powerful footsteps of worn-out sneakers. You could hear the shouts from the other side.

"Get him back on the team," You recalled from a previous conversation you just had with the now former coach of the Tigers, a taekwondo team. "I'm retiring because I can't. I've tried for the past week. I've told him how much the team needs him, about how he'll get over her, about all of his strengths, but he hasn't changed his mind. I'm getting old."

"And what makes you think I can?" The former coach of the Tigers was your father's friend. He probably knew of your previous coaching from your father.

"I can see it. You were fired from the coach position for the national female taekwondo team. I'm sure you can handle the national male team."

So, here you were, walking through the dormitory with your head held high. You could see the commotion around a specific dorm and that led you immediately to the man who was going to quit.
