“I can't believe it's our second baby already,” Wonwoo said, looking at a clothing rack for babies in the girl's section of the mall.

Wonwoo's wife smiled and patted her belly that was already large and round.

“I kinda have this deja vu feeling. Remember when you first found out about my pregnancy last time?” Wonwoo's wife said, grinning. “It was when Mingyu was having a baby.”

At this, Wonwoo only chuckled, recalling the memory. “And here we are, out shopping, for the clothes of our second child. Instead this time, we've seem to take the role of Mingyu and his wife from last time.”

They both looked over at you which made you feel uneasy. One of your hands were caressing the softness of pajamas for babies. Without knowing how to reply, you just chuckled nervously.

“When do you and Minghao plan to have a baby?” Wonwoo's wife asked. This question made your flustered, catching you off guard. Your heart was giddy when they invited you and your boyfriend, Minghao to shop for baby clothes. The only reason for your excitement was the fact that you were also pregnant—3 months along the journey. You had found out through a clinic that you were pregnant after experiencing morning sickness and telling a relative about it—which they recommended you go check if you were pregnant.

“Well...” In the end, you couldn't reply to the question and just smiled. Minghao had decided to come back from the restroom at the perfect time as he quickly changed the subject.

“How's it like having a second child?” Minghao asked.

You naturally hovered around Wonwoo's wife, gently conversing with her as you two picked out lovely dresses, shirts, and pants for the upcoming newborn. You could overhear Wonwoo and Minghao talking about children, which made you unable to close your ears.

“It's great. I wasn't that prepared the last time our baby came into my world but now, I feel much more prepared. They take a lot of care and attention.”

Wonwoo continued describing the life of a daddy and Minghao would only nod along.

You four eventually left the clothing shop and went into a furniture store. All throughout, Wonwoo and Minghao conversed while you and Wonwoo's wife went around looking.

You figured that since Minghao had always liked children and got along with them well, your pregnancy announcement would make him just as euphoric and excited as you were.

That was until you heard one of his replies to Wonwoo—who was talking about the energy needed to match a child.

Crossing his arms and leaning against one of the pillars in the mall, he had said clearly, “Well, I'm kind of glad we're not having a child. Thank goodness.”
