[64] 1995/1996 LINERS: Pillow Talk Drabbles

Seventeen: when you need someone to talk to you so that you could fall asleep (pillow talk)

S.Coups:

Seungcheol was on the brink of falling asleep when he heard you sigh. Amid the dark, he rolled over in bed so that he would be facing the side where you were laying.

You were facing the opposite direction. Slowly, Seungcheol wrapped his arm around your waist and snuggled his head against your back.

"What are you sighing about?" Seungcheol asked, his voice soft and sleepy.

"I just can't sleep."

"Why not?"

"I need to listen to someone talk."

Seungcheol smiled softly and began to tell his life story. After making sure you fell asleep, he went to sleep too.

Jeonghan:

Jeonghan was a guy that could only sleep when it was absolutely quiet and dark. When he found that you weren't sleeping but instead was awake, he couldn't help but worry a bit.

"Why are you still up?" Jeonghan asked, holding you tightly against his chest.

"I can't sleep without someone talking to me."

Jeonghan nodded slightly and caressed the back of your head.

"Do you want me to tell you something?" Jeonghan asked, smiling gently. "I love you a lot. You're really beautiful."

You giggled softly.

"It's true. I like your eyes, your nose, your..."

He continued on and on.

Joshua:

It was nearing midnight and Joshua arrived home. He walked and as reached the bedroom and turned on the nightlamp, you turned to him.

"You're still awake?" Joshua asked.

You nodded. "I just realized, I can't sleep without you talking to me."

Joshua smiled softly. "I'll keep talking, go to sleep first, okay?"

"Aren't you coming into bed?"

"I will, but I need to take a shower first."

Joshua continued speaking to you until he could hear your cute snores. After he finished showering, he came to bed, facing you, he stroked your hair while gazing at your sleeping face.

Jun:

Jun has his hands around your waist in the dark, on the bed. You two were supposed to be asleep by now but Jun was busy talking. It was like he knew you couldn't sleep without his gentle voice caressing your ears.

As you felt your eyes grow heavier, you slipped out, "Thank you, Jun."

"Me? What for? All I've been doing is telling you about how I got banned from a cat cafe."

You smiled softly and buried your head in his chest, slowly falling asleep.

"Exactly that. Thank you for talking to me."

Jun smiled and continued talking.

Hoshi:

With you on one side of his chest, a stuffed tiger took up the other side. Soonyoung was having a small, late-night, pillow talk kind of conversation, with you but because it was mainly him speaking, you were slowly dozing off.

"You don't even need to tell me. I know, you probably want to go outside right now, right? It's like 8pm, we aren't babies. How about we go to the convenience store together, honey?"

Just then, he could hear your calm breathing against his chest. Soonyoung tossed his tiger stuffed animal and proceeded to hold you with both arms.

Wonwoo:

You and Wonwoo were in bed, facing each other. Your hands were in the middle, clasped and intertwined.

You were having trouble falling asleep and since Wonwoo was so quiet, you weren't sure if he had already fallen asleep.

"...Wonwoo?"

"Hm?" His voice sounded deep and exhausted.

"I can't sleep."

"You need me to talk to you?"

Before you could reply, he had already begun.

"You did great today. Why are you always like a child?"

You chuckled softly.

"My voice is like a lullaby, huh?"

Wonwoo pulled you closer with your hand and continued to talk until you slept.

Jihoon:

"Jihoon," you said. You two were in bed facing each other. You gently poked his cheek with your pointer finger, causing him to giggle.

"What?" He replied sweetly, visualizing your face in front of him in the darkness.

"Can you tell me about your day?" You asked. You didn't want to tell him that you needed him to talk for you to fall asleep well.

"My day? Well, it was nothing special, just producing songs here and there, going to practice... you know, just that stuff. Why?"

"Can't you just keep talking?" You asked, cuddling up to him.

"Well... okay."
