"Lidia you're going to be late!" Denise yelled up the stairs.

"It's not my fault Joe needs his hair to look perfect."

"hey!" Joe defended himself. Kevin and Nick exchanged glances and laughed.

:We have an interview today so Big Rob's gonna be here soon. We'll drop you off at school and then you and then you can walk home with K." Nick explained. The boys hated when I walked to school with Kayla. We would have to leave before dawn to get there on time. It honestly takes us five minutes to get to the end of our drive way.

"okay"

*Now at School.*

"hey K."

"Hey Lidi."

"Brothers wouldn't let us walk to school again today?"

:haha never. They had an interview today so they just droped me off."

"Cool. So, why did you want to tell me?"

Kayla and I have been best friends for seven years. We met in the second grade when she got on the wrong bus. I helped her find the right one. Ever since then we've been nothing but sisters. I told her EVERYTHING!

"Okay, so I had no say in this so you can't be mad at me."

"I could never be mad at you."

"Okay. So last night at dinner Paul Kevin Sr. told me I have to go on tour with them next month. There's no way out of it. They say it's the best thing for me and they will be able to watch out for me. Kay, I'm sorry. I tried. I really did, but theres no way out of this. I have to go on tour."

"Cool. You should be happy, you need this." Kayla said tears welling up in her eyes. Kay has been through a lot too. Her parents demanded nothing but perfection and were never happ with eachother. I kept Kay grounded, she kept me grounded. It's just the way it worked.

"K, please. Don't cry, we can still be sisters."

"Here, take this. Sisters don't leave eachother. when they need them the most." She took off the knecklace that sid sisters forever, and put it in my palm. Now I felt tears stinging my own eyes.

The rest of the day I couldn' [ay any attention. When the last bell rang I slowly got up and called the house. Kevin answered. His voice sounded worried. I never called the house phone. I always called cells.

"Lid are you okay?"

"Can you just please come pick me up?"

"Yeah where at?"

"School."

"I'll be there in five." I sat on the curb, head burried in my hands, tears stinging my face." Kev pulled up in his car took one look at me and unlocked the car door. I threw my bag on the floor of the front seat and looked out the window.

"Do you want to talk?"

"No." I said in tears. He pulled into the driveway and as soon as he stoped the car I unbuckled and ran in the house without even noticing who else was in the house. I got my room slamed the door and fell onto the floor.

"Hey Lid..."

"Kev."

"I know, I know. You don't want to talk."

"I just want my life back to the way it was! I want Kay back as my sister, I want my mom mom back in the kitchen cooking amazing food, I want my dad back and loving me. I just want my life back Kevin!"

"Lidi, What happend with Kay?"

"She hated me Kev. She gave me back our knecklace. The one that we've been wearing since fourth grade. Her parents are worse than ever and I promiced her I would always be there for her and I'm leaving on your tour. I love you guys to death, but I lost my sister! What do I do Kev?"

"Lid, I don't know what to do. I promiced you from the very begining I would always be honest and I honestly don't know what to do. But, Lidi I promice I will try to fix this. I love you Lidia."

"I love you to Kev."
