Chapter 2: The Deal

Taehyung's POV

I was silently watching Jennie and Bambam sleep.

They sleep in the same room, that's one of Jennie's condition when she agreed on marrying me.

We're married for 4 years, but I never had the chance to sleep with her in the same bed.

At first, it was fine with me since I don't really love her.

I was just using her.

But then, after a year of marriage I got to see her deep soul.

One day I woke up, I realized I already fell in love with her.

And so I'm doing my best to make her mine.

Until Lisa's presence is no where to be found, I know I will always have the chance to change her feelings.

I know, she will find in her heart to love me.

And forget the biggest mistake I ever did to her.

Flashback

The year of Lisa's accident.

"Due to the traumatic head injury, she's in coma now. All we have to do is have faith on her, that she can surpassed this one." This is what Tito Marco explain- Lisa's Dad.

My parents cried and so her mom.

Yes.

They are my parents but look at them crying for Lisa, while they never cried when I got the highest point in my career.

I'm still not enough for them.

Well, not in Lisa's case.

I saw her as a failure.
I own the famous engineering company in the whole world, but look at her just being a nobody.

But still, she have my own parent's love.

The love I always wanted to have.

No matter what I do, they never appreciated it.

But when Lisa cooks for them, their smiles are as wide as the Pacific ocean.

In my once a week visit to the sleeping beauty, I always see her girlfriend.

That girl she married using fake marriage because of her selfishness.

And still that girl chose to stay by her side.

Why can't they see the bad side of Lalisa Manoban?

As days becomes months and months becomes years.

We woke up one day, it's been three years already.

"Lisa! Lisa!" I saw Jennie panicked when Lisa's having seizure.

And so the doctors came.

And tried to save her.

I don't know if she's lucky or what but she got saved that day again.

"I'm sorry to tell you that we need to perform another surgery for her, an infection took place her brain, we need to remove it as soon as possible." Her Doctor said.

"Please Doc, do everything to save her." Mom said.

See? She's not Lisa's Mom but she's more concern.

How wonderful.

"But there is one good solution, we need an expert to this field, I wanted to recommend Dr. Jeon. I can 100% sure the life of the patient if he will do the operation." The Doctor added.
