Chapter 33- Friends

Nick's POV
I met Katherine at that café and she explained me everything from how that boy was our baby till how Hayley met and then adopted him

"Hayley?"

"Oh you don't know Hayley,-"

"I know who she is" I said with a smirk. She absolutely had all of my attention recently.

After this news I was able to track Hayley's location and that's when I saw that boy, he looked just like me.

Deciding to introduce myself finally I knocked on her door

"I am nick lembarti, Elijah's biological father" I told her but her face remained emotionless.

"Nick" she spoke calmly and then let me in

I was quite impressed by how she handled that news

"So what brings you here nick?" she asked

" I want my child Hayley"

She laughed and I turned around

"What?"

"What makes you think you are actually serious and I am actually considering your words for even a split second?"

I arched my eyebrows in confusion. This woman was definitely how I imagined her to be, dominant.

Only when I was about to speak, there was an interruption. The door suddenly opened and came in the one and only Christian Alfonzo with a child and another man.

This was one hell of a meet up

"Nick" Christian said softly and I hugged him

Confused? Let me tell you.

Christian, Katherine, Lucas and I were good friends in the past, we did talk presently but less of course

"What are you doing here man?" he asked excitedly

"Wait Christian you know him?" Hayley asked

Hayley's POV
How did Christian know him??

"Yes nick and I are good friends, why?"Christian seemed concerned this time

"This is Elijah's father" I said to everyone in the room. Elijah had already gone to bed so he wasn't here

For a moment, no one spoke, but then kai did

"Is this a joke?"

"I assure you it isn't, Mr. Black, Katherine told me today only that I had a heir"

"Katherine did?" Christian said through gritted teeth.

"I don't believe her for a second" kai backed Christian up making nick confused

"But why?"

"Oh she has a history of lying and traumatizing us" I said drastically

"I am missing a lot here"

"You sure are buddy, let me tell you"

As Christian told nick everything that Katherine did, I wondered how this would change things for Elijah. Katherine wouldn't involve another man until she was sure about the information she was giving him.

"I'm sorry Hayley for what she did" nick said softly and I looked at him

This man was just as perfect as he could be. Sharp jawline, young looks, angelic voice and dreamy personality

"But that doesn't change the fact that Elijah is my son" he concluded

Now I know why he looked so familiar, Elijah looks just like him.

"Listen nick, Elijah has already been through so much and Hayley adopted him already, don't you think you will mess things up and anyways why would you even need a son now?"

That got nick to thinking. He just wanted to see his son and nothing more.

"You're right but can I at least meet him?"

"You can, but he is asleep, maybe tomorrow?"I said quickly

In response he just smiled and stood up

"Alright, I will meet him tomorrow then"

"Okay" Christian also stood up and all the men said their goodbyes

After everything was done, I made my way to the room where Christian was already laying on the bed.

I snuggled myself in him and he wrapped a hand around me.

"Do you think he will let Elijah stay with us?"

"Nick isn't like Katherine Hayley, he would understand and I know him. The last thing he wants is a son"

That part relieved me a little and I closed my eyes.

I just wanted Elijah to stay with me because he was there with me when no one was and losing him means losing a part of myself
