Katherine's POV
"Where is he?"

"Boss Hayley took him with her the moment she left that building"

"Fu*k" I slammed my hand on the desk causing
pictures of everyone to fly around. This is going to be a huge problem

"I should've killed him the moment I gave birth to him"

"boss-"

"SHUTUP ANDREW"

"You guys let Christian fuc*ing go knowing very well that he was alive, he will burn all of us down"

"Sorry boss"

"Fix it Andrew"

"Boss you might be interested in something"

"What?"

"Hayley legally adopted him"

"WHATT?"

An idea crept through my head, even if Christian wasn't going to be mine, I could still separate them.
I asked Andrew to leave and quickly dialed her number

Hayley's POV
Hearing Katherine's voice made me feel a lot of things and happiness definitely wasn't one of them

"What do u want bi*ch?" I said through gritted teeth and in response she just laughed

"Hayley, why does u always think I want something, from you? Don't think that worthy of yourself love"

"Are you done with your bul**hit Katherine? I have things to take care of"

"Oh yes, things. Isn't one of your "things" a 5 year old boy?

I gulped "Katherine i swear if you harm-"

"No no Hayley, I don't care about that boy but I am sure Christian does. Do yourself a favor and ask him what blood relation he has with that boy"

"Blood relation-?"

Before I could complete my sentence, the line went silent. I clenched my phone in my hand and sat in the car.

Kai kept asking me questions but I was too occupied. What blood relation does Christian have with Elijah??

As soon as we got home I carefully took Elijah to his room and tucked him into bed. I stayed with him until he fell asleep and then quietly made my way out

Kai was sitting in the lounge room and he was already waiting for me.

"Hayley-"

"Kai what is Elijah to Christian?"

"What?"

"My bad, what relation does Elijah have with Christian"

Kai furrowed his eyebrows clearly confused

"Why would they have a relation?"

"I don't know Katherine said that"

"Katherine?"

Totally forgot.

After telling Kai everything that happened I looked at him with an expectant look

"Hayley I think she is up to something, there's nothing she just likes bothering you"

As much as that made me furious I knew kai was right. Katherine would always find ways to trouble me why would she ever do me a favor?

I nodded and headed to my room. But I have to be sure

Next morning I called Christian and filled him on the information, he also assured me it was all a game of Katherine and that I shouldn�t be worried.

Feeling relieved I headed towards the kitchen eager to make it up to Elijah starting with his breakfast

Christian's POV
"Tell me when you get them George"

Hayley's call made me curious as well. Why would Katherine say something as important as that without any evidence? She is definitely up to something

I asked George to run a background check on Elijah and find that bitch so I could personally interrogate her

After that I took a shower and called Lucas to remind him for the meeting

It was almost 2:30 when George called me
"Yes George?"

"Boss I found something very strange"

"What is it?"

"Boss you might have to look at it yourself"

I was concerned on why would George asked me to do that but anyway I drove to the quarter and found George already waiting for me with an envelope in his hand

I took the envelope from him and eagerly scanned the contents

"THIS CANT BE FUC*ING TRUE"

"I'm sorry boss but I made sure of it thrice that the information was 100 percent genuine"

I looked at the statement with a horrified look

"It says Elijah is my biological son"
