CH.15 : Baka!

*Timeskip after the fight with the Demon Holy Knight (a.k.a. Guila's dad)*

"Let's celebrate the reunion with Gowther by drinking!" Ban cheered.

"Yeah, like you guys don't do that exact same thing daily..." I said.

"Now then, now then, now then Emiko-chan~.. Is there anything wrong with that?" Meliodas asked.

"Yes. It rots your brain. Especially if you easily get drunk like Ban.." I said.

"Well then, I guess I'm lucky I'm not like Ban then" Meliodas said.

"Even so-" I begun. "Just drink!" Ban said forcing me to drink.

I stepped on his foot. After that I spat the drink out. What I didn't know was that I spat it out on Meliodas😂.

"Meliodas! I'm so sorry! I didn't know you were there and-" I started apologising.

He leaned closer to me. He whispered in my ear and said, "It's okay. Just stop apologising profusely. You're embarrassing yourself.."

I blushed him then punched him away from me! "Ow.." I heard Meliodas say.

"I'm not gonna lose to you captain!" Ban said drunk as ever. "You're so gonna eat those words.." Meliodas said grinning. I smiled.

"Emiko!" I snapped back to reality. Yui was waving her hand in front of my face.

"Huh?" I said. "You're not dreaming about Meliodas again are you?" Yui asked.

"N-no.." I said pouting. Yui just giggled. "How's it going with the others on your behalf?" I asked her.

"Pretty good! But Elizabeth is now my 2nd best friend!" Isabella cheered. I smiled.

"Not one of us is from the same species.." I overheard Gowther say. So I walked over to him and Meliodas.

"Now that you mention it, I guess you're right." Meliodas said putting his mug down.

"Emiko, what species are you?" Diane asked.

"Yeah..you never really told us.." Ban said, clearly drunk.

"Oh- it seems that Emiko is a mixed species..half demo-" I slapped Gowther's mouth.

"Angh hafmph goddemjjd.." I heard gowther's muffled voice say.

Even though it was muffled I could make his words out clearly, ' and half goddess..'.

"I'm human of course!" I shouted. "Yeah but then again, at the vaizel fighting festival..you and captain kinda looked like demo-" Ban said drunkly.

"Ban, I think I'll take you up on that fight offer.." Meliodas said. He was buying me time.

I mouthed a thank you to him. "Nah! Not now. I'm too drunk to fight.. Anyways..." Ban begun.

Next thing I knew they were smelling King. "What the hell are they doing?" I asked Meliodas. "I don't know.." he replied.

"No sweat.." Ban said. "Sir King, fight!" Elizabeth cheered.

"Diane, you are deceitful about your height. And your weight is even worse-" Gowther said.

"You're so mean Gowther! I hate you!" Diane said punching Gowther into the ground.

"Is there really a difference?"Meliodas asked.

"Not really but it matters to a girl " I replied. After some time, Elizabeth called Meli.

"Sir Meliodas! You're meat is cooked!" She said. "Is the princess in love with the Captain?" "..............................."

We sweat dropped as Gowther explained how he knew Elizabeth had a crush on him.

"Calm down, Diane!"

"If you're gonna destroy the village.." Ban and King stuttered.

When they saw that she was asleep they fell to the ground in relief.
