She shifted uncomfortably, her boots tapping the ground ever so lightly, waiting for his voice over the comms. She blinked under her helmet, her eyes scanning the sky for a moment.

"Come on." She whispered. Her head moved out towards the valley, no longer hidden in the trees.

There she saw nothing.

Her body leaned back on the tree as she sighed. She fiddled with her arm, lightly shaking it as it felt uncomfortable.

"Cora, come in." His voice hummed in her ears.

"I'm here." She replied quickly. Her voice frantic, her body ready to go when he gave the okay.

"It's clear now." His voice hummed.

"I'm on my way." A smirk danced on her face as she straightened her back, her muscles popped.

She collected herself and rushed out into the valley. No one was around to spot her, but she still kept her head down as she moved quickly through the grass. The sky was bright, the two suns bright in the pink sky. The air was warm, but the breeze kept it chilly. She was the last one to make it back, as the plan had been suggested.

She saw the ship and quickly dashed up the steps, the door closing behind her. She entered the familiar warmth of the Havoc Marauder, relaxing as she pulled her helmet off her sweaty face. She felt the ship rattle as it took off. Ripping her blasters off her hips, she was greeted by Echo.

"Did you get it?" He asked as she pulled a small memory pad from her side pouch.

She held it up, a smile on her face. "Simple extraction." She said proudly.

Echo took it from her, a smile on his face. He nodded and walked back towards the front, but first passing Hunter as he came from the cockpit. Her back was turned away as she started to take off her armour, it's heavy material was something she wanted off her sweaty body. She felt his eyes on her, a smirk on her face as she turned and saw him leaning on the wall, a playful look on his face.

As she turned, they locked eyes, her face becoming even more red from heat. Hunter pushed himself forward as Cora stopped taking off her armour. She placed her hands on his elbow, his hands softly rested on her hips.

"Good job, Senator." He whispered.

"Thank you, Sergeant." She replied playfully.

Hunter's hand rested on her cheek as he leaned down and placed a kiss on her lips. She kissed back as they heard Omega rush into the room. The two broke from each other before Omega could get closer.

"Cora!" Omega said rushing to her.

Cora turned away from Hunter and picked up Omega with a groan. "Hey kid!" She said happily, "How was he?" She narrowed her eyes looking at Hunter as he chuckled.

"Worried, but what else is new." Omega huffed.

Cora placed Omega so she was standing on the seat next to her, almost matching Cora's height. "He worries too much." Cora whispered glancing at Hunter who rolled his eyes.
