I sighed and got out the car.

"Relax. It's not like they saw us."

The four of us headed to the door. Before I could unlock it, it swung open. Standing there was my Aunt Juliana.

"Hey, Auntie.", Gio and I greeted her.
"My twins are home!", she said before pulling us into a hug.

"Lux, it's good to see you again. I don't think we've met.", Aunt J looked at Kai. Kai looked at me and smiled.
"I'm Kai, Karina's girlfriend."
"It's very nice to meet you Kai."

Aunt J smiled and let us in the house.

"Everyone's already here."
"And who's everyone?", I asked.

"Lennox, Victor, Giovanni, Tamara, Ana, Bruno and a few of his...coworkers.", she said.

"Karina! Giovanni! Lux! Stranger!", my little sister screamed as she ran down the long hallway.

"Aria!", Lux, Gio, and I yelled back. She ran into my arms. I picked her up and kissed her cheek.

"I missed you.", she said.
"We missed you too.", Giovanni said.
"Aria, this is my friend, Kai."
"Hi, Aria.", Kai said.

"Hi, Kai.", the little girl greeted her.

Aria turned her attention to Gio.

"Can I have a big brother ride?"

He smiled and nodded. I put her on his back and he took off running with her.

I looked back at my aunt and saw her looking at my injured hand in its brace.

"So, where is everyone?", I asked.
"The dad, uncles, and Bruno's 'coworkers' outside. All of the women are in the living room."

We nodded and followed her to the living room.

"Hi, mom.", I said once I saw her.

She rushed and hugged the three of us.

"Where's my boy?"
"Playing with Aria."
"It's so good to see you girls again.", she told Lux and Kai.

The three of us sat down on the free couch.

"Where's Abuela?"
"She's actually spending the day with her daughter and granddaughters, but she said she'll drop off a dish for us."

I nodded. I looked over at Kai. Kai looked uncomfortable around so many strangers.

"Lux and I are going to show Kai my room.", I told my mom.

I grabbed Kai's hand and the three of us headed upstairs.

"Are you okay?", I asked Kai as we reached the stairs.
"Yeah, I'm fine. I was just a little nervous."
"I get it. I was nervous the first time I was here too.", Lux said.

The three of us climbed the stairs and walked to my bedroom. I heard a soft gasp when we walked in. I turned and saw Kai standing there with wide eyes.

"Babe, are you okay? What's wrong?", I asked as I rushed to her side.

"Karina, your room is amazing. I can't believe you grew up here."
