"What the hell happened out there?." Beth asked the three as they made their way up the steps. "And who's child is that?." She pointed to the girl in Maggie's arms. "Walker got in and I dunno, but it was tryin' to feast on this little one right here." Beth gave the child a sympathetic look. "The parents were no where in sight?." She asked as she picked her up off the floor. "Gladdis said that she only came in with her mom and she seems to think it was her mom who had committed suicide due to the wounds on the body." Beth's heart melted as she looked over the little girl.
The girl had pale skin, bright green eyes and sandy brown hair that beth admired so dearly. She looked no older then four. "Oh ... Well, does she have a name?."
"Aspen." Daryl said and she smiled. "Well, who's gunna be taking care of her?."
"We don't know that either.." Beth looked at the giggly toddler in her hands and smiled. "I'll do it?."
"Beth-"
"I've always wanted to be a mother, besides i took care of Judith, didn't I?." Maggie sighed. "Fine."
