quiet evening, light rain slamming against the windows, and the ninjas, resting thanks to the holiday

but not all ninjas were lazily sitting on the couch

making many more minutes pass .. but Jay, he didn't even get out of that room for a moment.

and the others were just using the phone or playing with the console. or at least, Lloyd was running out of all the candy they had bought, for the possible kids who would knock on the door of the monastery. although unlikely, given the stairs ..

but Nya, thought it was strange that Jay had not yet made himself "alive", without even making a scary joke! so she decided to get up and try to reach his room

but suddenly, the light throughout the Monastery went out

"agh.. fantastic! a blackout!" Kai pretended to be euphoric

"I'm sure it's solvable" Nya said, trying to calm that hot head of her brother

"Oh.. I don't like it at all.." Lloyd said, still chewing

"What? the fact that we are in the dark in the day of the departed? where could there be anyone, and probably the same thing, turned off the light? oh you don't have to be!" Kai said sarcastically

"ooh guys.. I thought you weren't afraid of ghosts" Nya said, feigned innocence

"you remember me a lot, right now" Cole commented, as he searched with his hands for the candy in the table, trying not to be discovered by Lloyd

"about Jay.. where is he?" Zane asked

"GUYS!" a voice shouted, running awkwardly to the room, trying not to hit anything

"talking about the devil.." Kai snorted, fortunately not seeing his sister's gaze

"GUYS GUYS! ARE YOU HERE? " Jay repeated, putting his arms forward, and trying to see

"yeah.. we are here" Nya informed him

"oh well.." he caught his breath "something turned off the Monastery!"

"oh no, really? how did you figure it out?" Kai continued to be sarcastic, but this time earning an elbow from someone. all he could see was Nya's blood-red eyes. making him tremble more than anything else

"and what do we do?" Kai asked

"we should go to the counters and-" Zane was interrupted, by a sudden sound, blowing everyone up

suddenly, Jay, felt a strong grip around his torso

"oh Nya.. you don't have to be afraid" Jay tried to console her

"uh.. but I'm not afraid.." Nya said, hesitant and confused

Jay's skin became paler "a- a- a-n d who is hug-g-gin-g me!?.." he shook

at the sudden affirmation, Kai remembered again his powers, and illuminated the room with fire in his hand

"Lloyd?.." Jay simply said, looking down, to see the terrified green ninja

"w-what?" Lloyd said, as he quickly detached himself from Jay's body, pretending nothing happened

"I think it is appropriate to move, and turn on the light as soon as possible.." Lloyd said, approaching Kai for the light

but before they could go in search of the counters, something stopped them

"cooolee~" something whispered, making everyone turn, but especially the black ninja, in terror

"d-do you heard that?..." Cole asked, trying not to look crazy

"it would have been better than not" Nya said, beginning to get scared
