since Jay was born, everyone lie to him

the long blond haired woman had an 8 month old baby in her arms

and she stares carefully at her son's electric blue eyes

"hey darling" said the black-haired man, kissing his wife on the forehead as a greeting

"hi love, how did it go to work?" She asked, watching her husband as he went to the kitchen to get some water

"oh honey, great! I had the part for fritz donnegan!" Cliff replied, pretending to fight by moving his fists in the air

"oh Cliff, I was sure you would have done it!" Libber said, waiting for him to return to the living room where she was

"thank you libby" Cliff said and then kissed her

"have you seen your dad? he did it!" Libber said sweetly, as she held his son's tiny hands between her hands, copying the exact gesture Cliff had made a few seconds earlier in the kitchen.

Cliff burst out laughing, while Libber had a cheerful smile, looking at her husband and son

then he asked, stretching out his hands, if he could take his children in his arms

and she, accepting, approaches to him in order for take him better

"who is my little man? is it you? yes it's you!" Cliff said as he lifted the child to the ceiling

having fun, the child chuckled, as he was gently thrown into the air and then brought back into his father's arms

"so is it our little Jay?" Cliff asked, bringing Jay back into his arms

"yes, it suits with his little sweet face" Libber said as she smiled at her husband

"you're absolutely right" he said, looking at Jay asleep "Jay Gordon... it's perfect!" he finished looking back at his wife

libber then got up from the couch and joined to Cliff, and they both looked at Jay with love

"we'll always be with you Jay, we promise you" Cliff said, putting one arm over his wife's shoulders, and with the other arm bringing Jay closer to them

but, this was the first promise to Jay

which was not maintained

"don't worry son, everything will be fine" the woman with brown hair said, as she helped the little one get out of the car

"Mom, what if other kids don't like me?" the 7 year old asked worried

"but no honey, they'll adore you! I promise you" his mom said as she helped him put his backpack on his shoulders

but another promise was destroyed

after a child began to bully him

and was mocked by all his fellow kindergarten students

as he walked, he was remembering all the phrases she had said to him

"one day we would go wherever we want, we could go to France, the most romantic place of all!" Nya said as she began to daydream

"or we could go to Greece! and discover a lot of undiscovered artifacts "

"and I would love to go in Italy and taste the pizza at Naples!"

"we will travel all over the world, just you and me, I promise you" Nya said as she held his hands and smiled softly

now arrived at his destination, he open his eyes and take a long breath

he opened his mouth

but what he saw, took the words out of his mouth

his breathing was labored, as if somebody was strangling him

Nya held his best friend's hand, as they looked at each other in love

and also she

the girl who he believed his soul mate

she had, beyond his heart, also broken her promise given to Jay

"yeah, Kai's right, for whatever we'll be here to support us" Cole said confidently

"and there will be me who will continue to grow and train you five despite everything, we will not lose anyone, I promise you" wu said then approaching to his students

but, even the wisest people, could break promises

he had discovered it, after the battle against the overlod

when their dear robotic friend Zane, sacrifices himself to save ninjago and his family

"Jay, look at me, no one is leaving," the girl with her black hair gathered in a high tail said "I'm not going anywhere" she said, putting her hands over his cheeks with fresh tears

"I-I know.. but.. What happens if he comes back? what if someone else hurt you or took you away from me? I couldn't stand it again" Jay said as he looked down

"even if it happens, I'm sure you'll be able to bring me back to you" Nya said, and then kissed him

"Jay, whatever might happen, I'll never leave you, I promise you" she spoke again, after they broke away from the kiss

and then he was wrapped in a warm and reassuring hug

but now he was cold and trembling

he looked at the shape of a girl covered in water in front of him

the body was of Nya, but her soul was gone

"Don't leave me!" begging the guy behind her

Nya was about to dive, but Jay's voice stopped her

she turned to him, and then went back

but it was that day

the end of that promise

because even though she was in front of Jay, and he had her hand over his cheek

he knew she had already left him

and some helped him to move forward and restart from them

it knocked him down heavily

it was the one that destroy him completely
