-this boy would secretly whip out a history book in secret and learn everything about the empowering history there is of your country of origin
-so whenever someone comments on things with slavery whenever you're around he would just retaliate with something about the great African Queens or Kings there were before Africa was colonized, or other badass facts about your history
-would always ask you if his Australian slang is offensive to you, due to some incidents in the past, before he uses it anywhere
-he would quietly make a small list in the notes on his phone of words he can't say and one for words he can say, so he can remind himself whenever needed
-but let's just face it, Jake would be sooooo stoked to introduce you to his family and friends no matter who you were, he didn't care about skincolor, hair, ethnicity and all those stupid things people are judged upon nowadays

"Honey... can I use this word for my birthday post to Heeseung hyung?"
"I don't see a problem with it, so sure."

Sunghoon-
-okay this boy would be shy no matter who you were and how you looked, but he would be extra nervous because he knew in Korea it wasn't common to see an Asian man and a Black woman together
-but if he loved you to Pluto and back it surely didn't matter, at least he thought. He wasn't prepared for all the comments there would be around your relationship
-but each time one of those comments came he would automatically wrap an arm around your waist and pull you into him, asking the person to KINDLY repeat their words
-he wasn't gonna take anything but compliments about how cute and good you two looked together and how you were made for each other
-and let's not begin with how he reacts when he hears someone shout something racist towards you, because ice skates might just fly through the air

"I'm sorry, I'm not sure I quite heard what you said about me and my soulmate here, care to repeat yourself?"
"Hoon I don't think it's necessary-"
"Oh it most certainly is. Now repeat yourself, I dare you."

Sunoo-
-after he began dating you he began being on his phone much more than you had remembered him to be, and at first it got you insecure and worried
-but that was all until you realized what he really was doing on his phone, the day he couldn't keep it to himself anymore
-he had watched hours upon hours upon hours of YouTube videos on how to take care of natural hair and different hairstyles for it
-he sort of became your own little hairstylist, offering you ideas to hairstyles you could do every morning, but he would be so hesitant to help you with doing your hair, almost like he was scared
-he would always do his utmost best to help you with anything you needed in any way possible, and if your problem was racist people, well... then he'd just claw their eyes out, simple as that

"Are.... are you sure I can touch your hair? Cuz like... I heard that you don't like when people touch your hair."
"Sunoo... if I ask you to do my hair, I want you to touch my hair. If you were some random person touching my hair I would smack you."

Jungwon-
-he was sooooo curious about everything, he would always ask his hyungs if there were words he couldn't say around you, but he would always ask you different things like what food was your favorite and even if it was something as simple as pancakes he would look at you with stars in his eyes
-he would be very hesitant to ask you about certain words, which he didn't know were racist or not, so he would always write them down on a paper and just slide it to you, giving you an expectant look, waiting for you to answer
-plus, y'all know that sassy judging look he sends staffs during lives and other content?
-yeah you best believe he'll use that a lot when around you, but not to you, to everyone who stares at you two as if you're two aliens
-no one, AND I MEAN NO ONE, was gonna say a peep about you two unless it was immense praise. Yang Jungwon only accepts praise for his partner and him

"Jungwon you have to stop sending people those looks, you look like some bitch in high school."
"I'll gladly be that bitch in high school if they don't stop looking at us like that... OI YOU! WHAT'CHA LOOKING AT??? HUH???"
"Jungwon... This is literally worse than their stares..."

Niki-
-once in a while... just once in a while you would catch him just sitting and staring at you, his head cocked to the side almost like he was holding his breath
-little did you know it was because he had overthought some slang he was about to use on you, and you had to ask him if he was there
-also, the moment you met his fmaily he was determined to make you and Konon best friends, for some odd reason (both you and Konon still can't figure out why, but you both think he was scared you wouldn't get accepted by his fam, but who cares now you two are besties and play pranks on him, payback time!)
-this boy has the scariest stoneface/resting bitch face, next to Sunoo, and he would not hesitate to use it around staff if they didn't let you talk to him and such
-he knew damn well that some of those staffs were racist, and he wasn't gonna scold them out loud so he just let them be scared of him by glaring at them

"Niki... are you alright? You're zoning out again."
"Am I allowed to call my hyungs by 'guys'?"
"I don't mind... but I think it's impolite speaking in Korean, isn't it?"
