CAMILLA'S POV

Eventually, Draco and I sat down on the floor at the foot of the bed. He just stared straight ahead and I stared at the floor. The tears on my face dried and we were both quiet. But he was alive.

"Draco," I said. He looked at me. "I need to ask you to do something." I said. "What is it?" he asked. "Whatever happens, whether I make it out of here or not, I need you to make sure- make sure Harry never finds out what happened- to me." I said. He looked at me with sorrow in his eyes. "You want him to think he was the last boy to ever have you, right?" he asked. I nodded. He just gave a small smile. "Ok, I understand," he said quietly. "Thank you," I replied. He nodded. "Does your mother know you're alive?" I asked. "Yes," he said. "She must have been happy." I said. "She is, I'm not," he said. I looked at him quickly. "Snape hid me for a month and a half before the dark lord knew I was alive again. During that time, he had nothing on my mother. Nothing to use as a weapon to keep her in line. If I was really dead, maybe she could have escaped. Then she found out I was alive. No matter how much I want her to, she'll never abandon me." he said. "Draco, she's your mother. She loves you too much to leave you." I said. "I wish she didn't." he snapped. "Don't say that," I said. "I mean it." he mumbled. "No, you don't. If I could have my mother back, I would do anything." I said. "I'm sorry, Cam. I'm sure she was great." he said. I looked at him and smiled. "She was a Gryffindor." I said. His eyes widened. "What?" he exclaimed. "It's a long story. But she didn't die during childbirth. My father killed her." I said. His face fell. "Shit, I'm sorry," he said. I shrugged. We were quiet again as my mind raced. Until something clicked. A month and a half. At Snapes. I stood up quickly and he did too.

"You were there!" I exclaimed. His face dropped. "What?" he said. "At Snapes. When I went to the cabin. You were there." I said. He looked down. "Yes," he said quietly. I shoved him as hard as I could and he stumbled back. "Snape made me promise to stay upstairs. He said you couldn't know. That it was too dangerous for both of us." he said. "Bullshit!" I yelled. "Cam, please try to understand." he said. "No! You try to understand. I thought you were dead. And even worse, dead because of me. My heart was broken. And you didn't have the decency to tell me you were alive. Do you know how much pain you could have saved me? When you died, I wanted to die too!" I yelled. "I'm sorry, Cam. It wasn't my choice." he said. I shook my head. "Please Camilla, don't be angry at me. Please." he said. He stepped forward and I stepped back. "Please, I just got you back." he said softly. I looked at him and sighed. "I understand." I said. "You do?" he asked. I nodded. "Snape kept a lot of secrets. He isn't who I thought he was. But you are," I said. "Come on, Camilla. That's not true. You know Snape." he said. "He lied to me. He told me he wanted to protect me and then turned around and served my father." I said. He sighed. "I trusted him. But nothing he said was true," I said. "Camilla, I know you're angry at him but you need to know this. Snape had a good reason for everything he did. And he never pretended to care for you. He did care." he said. "How do you know?" I asked. "I heard you guys arguing. When you told him you were going to ask him to adopt you, and then you left, I'd never seen him so heartbroken." he said. "Oh," I said quietly. He nodded. We continued talking for a while longer. I was just so happy that he was alive. I thought I lost him but I didn't.

Then the door opened and Nathan walked in with 4 death eaters behind him. Draco quickly. stepped in front of me and I held his hand. "Time's up," Nathan said. He nodded at the death eaters and they came towards me. "No! Get away from her!" Draco yelled as he tried to push them away. One of them shoved Draco and he hit the ground with a thud. "Stop!" I yelled. The two death eaters grabbed me and pulled me towards Nathan so I stood in front of him. The other two held Draco's arms and kept him pinned to the ground. "Please Nathan, not yet. I don't want to go back there." I said. He laughed. "What? So I bring loverboy back from the dead and suddenly you drop Harry like a sack of potatoes?" he asked. My face fell. "No! I love Harry. And I will always love Harry." I said. "What about him?" he asked with a cruel grin. "Draco is a different love." I said quietly. He scoffed. "Pathetic," he spat. "Please Nathan, I don't want to go back there. Please just let me stay here with Draco. I'll do whatever you want." I said. "You want to stay here?" he asked. I nodded. "Fine. Let's see if that's still true after Draco see's the real you." he said. "What?" I asked. Then they were dragging me away. "Stop it! Let her go! Let her go now!" Draco yelled as he struggled on the floor. A death eater slammed me down over the desk and held my arms behind my back. "No! No, wait! Please Nathan!" I begged. I felt them pull down my overalls and knickers and he shoved his hand up my shirt. Then he forced himself inside me and I sobbed. Nathan walked over and grabbed the roots of my hair and turned my head so I faced Draco. "You see, Draco? You don't want her. She's used and pathetic." he said. Tears streamed down my cheeks. "You bastard! I'm gonna kill you! I'm going to kill you!" Draco screamed. The death eater finished and let go of me. I fell to the floor shaking and I curled up in a ball and pressed my back to the wall. Nathan knelt down in front of me and grabbed my chin. "This is your life, Camilla. And one day, I'll make Potter watch while they fuck you and then you can watch us kill him." he said. Then he stood up and turned to leave. "Please, Nathan. I'll do whatever you want, anything. Just don't take her away from me. Please." Draco pleaded. "Anything?" Nathan asked. He nodded. "Fine, she can stay with you. But when I ask you to do something, you do it. Or I will kill you both. Understood?" he asked. Draco nodded quickly. Then they left. Draco quickly rushed over to me and I looked up at him. "I didn't want-" I stammered. "I know, I know you didn't want to. It's not your fault." he said. I shook my head. "No. I didn't- I didn't want you to see," I said. His face fell. He just pulled me into his arms and I laid on his chest. "You're safe, just rest now." he said softly.
