CAMILLA'S POV

"Hey Mr. Moral Fiber, are you ready for the party tonight?" George asked. Fred and George have been calling him that all day. I think it's hilarious. "Sure, yeah." Harry said. Ginny and Hermione clapped. "Cam, are you going to come?" Harry asked. I shook my head. "I don't think so. I have some homework to do and I just don't really feel well." I lied. Nathan told me I wasn't allowed to go to parties anymore. I didn't feel like being tortured just so I could have 3 hours of fun. "Are you sure?" Ginny asked. I nodded. "I'll see you guys later." I said heading up to my dorm. I started working on my homework. I finished a lot of it but the music downstairs was bloody loud. I grabbed my book and snuck through the party avoiding everyone. I got outside the portrait and drew my wand. "Lumos" I said quietly and the hallway lit up slightly. I walked down the empty halls silently. I decided to go to the Astronomy Tower. I climbed the stairs and got to the top. I sat down and began to read. The air was chilly and I was cold but I didn't mind. It was peaceful. Then I heard footsteps. I closed my book and drew my wand. When I saw who it was, I relaxed. Draco lifted his hands in surrender. "It's me." he said. I lowered my wand and he walked over. "What are you doing here?" I asked. "Same as you," he said, pulling out a book. I nodded. I took the book from his hands and read the cover. The Great Gatsby. "It's a good book, I'd hate to spoil it but it was all a dream." he said. I handed it back to him. "Actually it was all a lie." I said. He looked surprised. "I read it." I said. "Wow, I didn't think your father would let you read muggle books." he said. "I could say the same about you." I said. "He doesn't. At least he wouldn't if he knew." he said. I nodded. "How did you read it?" he asked. I blushed and looked down. "What?" he asked. "I read it when you were sleeping. I didn't have anything else to do. Sorry, I should've asked." I said. He smiled. "It's alright. I'm glad you read it. It's my favorite book." he said. "Draco, can I ask you something?" I said. He nodded. "Do you think I'm a bad person for letting Harry die to save my people?" I asked. He sighed. "I don't know." he said. "I've always tried to be the good guy but right now I don't know how." I said. "There are no good guys Riddle. Everyone has darkness in them. Even Harry." he said. I just nodded. "I know you're scared. I am too. But I'll try to protect you." he said. I laid my head on his shoulder. "Thank you." I whispered. We held hands and stayed there together all night. Eventually, I drifted off to sleep.

"Riddle'' I felt someone shaking me. I opened my eyes and saw Draco. "Riddle, you gotta go." he said. I sat up in his bed. "Did I sleep here?" I asked. He nodded. I stood up and grabbed my jacket. "Don't let your brother see you ok?" he said. I nodded and slipped out the door. Right before I left, I saw a little bed made of blankets on the floor. He slept on the floor and gave me his bed. I smiled at his kind gesture as I walked. I made it back to my dorm and nobody saw me. I walked into my dorm and Ginny and Hermione were asleep. I climbed into bed and laid there until our alarm clock went off. I thought about Draco. I wondered if I was ever going to get to really like him. Or if Nathan would ruin that too. I wondered if Nathan would control me for the rest of my life. If he would, I don't want to live anymore.

"Did you guys hear?" Harry asked as him and Ron sat down. Ginny, Hermione and I were already eating. "What?" Hermione asked. "Barty Crouch was murdered." he said. My jaw dropped. "What?" I exclaimed. "That's mad!" Ginny said. My heart was racing. My face paled. There is only one person at this school right now who would kill someone. "I have to go." I said. "But we just got here. You didn't eat anything." Hermione said. "I'm not hungry. I'll see you guys in class." I said as I rushed over to the Slytheri table. Blaise, Draco and Nathan all sat together talking. "Nathan," I said, shaking his shoulder. His head whipped around. "What do you want?" he snapped. "We need to talk." I said. "I decided when we need to talk and we don't. Now go." he said. I leaned closer to him. "Barty Crouch was killed and you're the only person at this school right now that I know would kill someone." I whispered. "Are you sure about that?" he asked. Confusion covered my face. "What?" I asked. "Am I the only person?" he asked. "Yes, now tell me the truth. Did you do it?" I whispered. "No, not that it's any of your concern what I do with my free time." he said. I nodded. "Now leave. I don't want to deal with you anymore." he said. I got up and walked back to the Gryffindor table and sat down with my friends. "Are you ok?" Harry asked. I nodded. But I wasn't. I wasn't ok. Because I didn't believe him. Nathan might be a killer.
