Chapter 18

~~Recap~~
I get to Angel's car and see my dad's car puling up. I freeze. Literally, I can't  even move my feet.

~~Present~~ Sophia pov~~

Soon Angel is standing next to me. I see my dad get out the car.

" Well well well. What do we have here", he says with a smirk
" Dad, Its not what it looks like"
" Oh really. Cuz to me it looks like you too were having a little picnic", he says pointing to the basket Angel has in his hands. I just look down at my feet.

" Your principal called and said you weren't at school. Why?".
"I woke up late", I whisper

He just looks at me with a disappointed look on his face and rolls his eyes.

"What's your name boy ", my dad says to Angel

~~Angel pov~~

"What's your name boy ", her dad says to me
"My name's Angel sir"
"Angel huh"
"Yes", I nod
"Tell me Angel, why was my daughter here with you. Were you two on a date or somthing

Before I could say anything Sophia says " We weren't on a date"

" Did I ask you?"
She shakes her head no. He then turns his attention back to me

"So Angel, why was Sophia here with you ".

I began to tell him why she was here with me.

"Are you interested in my daughter "
"No". I can Sophia's face turn into a frown. I can't say yes in front of her yet. I'm not sure what my feelings are for her just yet.

"Good. If i ever find you with my daughter again without my permission, then you won't ever see her again. Understand.", he says giving me a stern look

I nod my head. 

~~Sophia pov~~

"Dad, I don't need your permission for everything"

"SHUT UP, I WASNT TALKING TO YOU"

Woah. My dad has never yelled at me like that before.

"Get in the car ", he said in a more calm voice.

I reluctantly got in the car. But before I did I turned around and gave Angel a sad smile. he gets in also and we drive away leaving Angel standing there

~~Angel pov~~

Before she gets in the car she turns around and gives me a sad smie. I smile back and get in the car. I drive out the woods and soon i am on the road again. I decide to go to the headquarters. I don't feel like going ome at the moment. I soon get to the headquarters and get out.

I walk in the building and see my crew practice their fighting.

 Luke-" Hey Angel Boss wants to talk to you"

Josh-" Now you tell him, idiot"

Luke-" Sorry, i forgot"

Josh-" You forget everything"

I ignore their little argument and head to the meeting room. I walk in the room and Boss sitting at the head chair.

A- Hey boss

Boss- Angel, sit down. We have lots to discuss

I sit down in the chair and wait for him to conitnue

Boss- Have you gotten close with Sophia yet

A- Kinda

Boss- What do you mean  kinda

A- As you know. Today is the day my parent's died.

He nods his head for me to continue

A- And today i went to the cafe. I saw her about to leave the cafe when i called her over. She came and sat in  front of me. I asked her if she was going to school. She said no and asked me why. I asked if she wanted to hang out with me and she said yes.

Boss- That's good. Do you have any information on her.

A- No I didn't get a chance to because we were interrupted.

Boss- Interuppted by who?

A- We were interrupted by her father.

Boss-  And what did her father say?

A- He said if he ever fnds me with his daughter again without his permission, i won't ever see her agian. And then he yelled at Sophia and told her to get in the car and they left.

Boss- Did Sophia say anything

A- Not really. But before she got in the car she bgave me a sad smile.

Boss- I highly doubt her dad willo do anything to her.

For a while no says anything

Boss- I've got to figure out how to get her parents in trouble and for her to witness it

A- Well we could catch them doing something like drugs or something illegal and Sophia can walk in at a random moment and catch them. Then the police will come and take them to jail

Boss- Sounds like a plan. But if this desnt work then... we willll..... tell her the trith about her parents and if she doesn't believe us then you can show her what you found in her room. Deal

A- Deal.

B oss- Alright you can go

I leave the meting room and go downstairs. " Guys im going home"

" Hey", I turn around to see Josh running up to me, " you mind giving me a ride home"

" Dude, when are you gonna get a car"

" Man i don't need a car. Thats what i got you for"

" Alright come on".

He follows me out to my car and we get in. I drop him off at his house and i head home. I get home and walk inside. I go to my room and take a shower. I get out and put on my pajamas. I hop in the bed and turn on Netflix. I pick thr movie Step Up 3. Halfway through the movie i get tired , so i turn off the movie and the lights and get up under the covers. But  before i fall asleep. I get txt.

I check my phone and its from a unknown number. It reads : I think i know who Sophia's parents are
