100: Some Science

It was morning and the chicks had somehow managed to climb up on my berth and jump on me.

But I wanted to recharge!

But I had responsibilities. I got the chickens some energon and drunk my own cube.

So... Egg started. The chicks will come with. She said.

The three of them cheered and once they were done with their energon, I let them into my subspace.

What if there's no stuff there? Egg asked.

"Dunno." I said as I walked through the hallways, "If that's a problem, we'll figure it out." I shrugged and we made it to the landing bay, "I brought the chicks and fossils." I told Predaking from his spot of the floor.

He nodded and stretched his wings.

"You're good at orienteering right?" I asked.

He nodded and started flapping, gesturing me to follow.

"Well you're eager, aren't you?" I grinned and flew after him. I never really realized how fast he could go.

We flew for awhile, I was slightly irritated by the chicks constant wiggling and finally we started a decent. The cave came into sight, we landed before it and transformed.

"That was a long flight." I muttered, Predaking nodded, "There better be some stuff." I added and let the chicks out. "You guys stick together, got it?" I asked them.

They got in a line behind Egg.

We began walking through the old cave and eventually got to the ruined lab. There were some shards of Cybermatter but most had already been taken onto the Nemesis. "So..." I started and looked around, as far as we could tell, there was no intact equipment.

Then Egg gave a squawk. There's two big cylinders and some energon stuff here. She said.

I tapped Predaking on the shoulder. "Egg found something." I said and led him over to her. There were two large cylinders, where the Predacons would grow and lots of yellow liquids, hidden under some rubble.

It seemed perfect. I got out my datapad and looked at the downloaded contents. "Everything we need is here." I muttered, "How convenient."

Predaking nodded with a grin and we began following the instructions.

Zinc and Gold even found a energy generator. Naturally we hooked it up.

Predaking watched me as I read, "Can you get me some of the yellow stuff and two dishes?" I asked him and he early got one.

Egg dragged a microscope over. "Thanks."

"Since when did you know this stuff?" Predaking asked.

"It's in the instruction manual and I studied some science stuff before the war." I said.

"You studied?"

"Went in one audio and out the other." I shrugged and separated a strand of RNA from both bones and transported them each to one dish, filled with the yellow stuff. The manual said to hook em up to an energy source so I did so.

"Okay, now we wait 24 hours and then we put them in the cylinders." I explained as Predaking looked at the very small, non-visible strands of RNA.

"Can I stay with them?" He asked.

"Sure." I shrugged. Wanna go visit the Autobots? I asked Egg.

Yup, Copper wants to stay with Pred. She added.

"Cool." I said and let the others in. "Imma head back to the Nemesis." I lied.

"And when you come back, you'll smell like the Prime." Predaking raised a ridge.

"Yup, bye." I said and walked for the exit. "Don't tell Megatron!" I called back.

A soft, "I won't" followed.

We made it out side and I took flight.

Can we get some energon first, chicks are hungry. Egg asked.

"Sure." I said, and since I was in no mood to fly all that way, I called for a bridge. One popped up and I flew through. I ended up in the command unit and narrowly avoid crashing.

"And where were you?" My brother asked.

"In the air, flying." I shrugged as I got up from the floor.

"Mmm, what were you saying Shockwave?"

"My lab has been vandalized." He said with a tint of sadness as I tried my best not to giggle.

"When?"

"Last night."

I stuck around to hear this out while Egg gave a little chuckle.

"Soundwave?" Megatron turned to his Third in Command, he tilted his helm in acknowledgment.

Soundwave brought up some security footage and played it back at us in twenty times speed, skimming through before it slowed down.

Egg was on TV!

Soundwave is narking, isn't he? Egg asked.

And you look stunning. I told her as the three of us watched Egg trash the lab.

My brother discreetly looked at me in accusation, I shrugged and headed for the door.

I made it out without being called back and I headed for my berthroom. I hope Shockwave was regretting stuff. Egg giggled.

"Yup." I agreed as I walked into my room and let the three of them out. I got some energon for them and they eagerly began to drink. "You all drank before we left." I pointed out.

Not all they could of, they just wanted to leave fast. Egg explained.

"Oh." I said, that kinda made sense. "Eh, we'll be able to use a ground bridge anyway." I shrugged as they all drunk quickly. And soon they were done. I put them in my chassis and headed for the door.

I was blocked by my brother.

"So..." He started, "Where's the Chicken?" He said as he took a step in.

"Ah." I said, covering up Egg's frightened squawk.

"Well?" He said after he checked the hatch.

"No, idea, went rouge." I shrugged.

He turned, spotting my lies instantly, "Open your subspace." He said and took a threatening step towards me.

"No." I said, trying to seem brave while my spark was playing up again. I wasn't even that stressed!

Megatron started at me and opened his intake.

"Nope, not now." I said and sat down on my berth.

"And why not?"

"I'm having a seizure." I shivered as I nervously took out my flask.

"Argh." Megatron sneered, "Make sure she doesn't do it again." He grumbled about Shocker's lab and left.

Oh thank Primus he's gone. Egg said as I drank a bit from the flask. I needed to purge too.
