Not so Silly Heart Desires

I wanted to be a ballet dancer

Pretty; Graceful

Moving to the tune's rhythm.

Now, I dance for fun

-And it's MORE than just ballet

I wanted to be a famous singer

Angelic; Strong

Loving the performance of it all.

Now, I sing on occasion

-But I Speak and Lift Weights instead

I wanted to be a writer

A journalist; maybe a poet

Because I loved the art of words.

Now, I write poetry and journal

-And people buy it.
