"So..." he said with anticipation, "have you thought about it?"
I looked up at him with a blank face. "I have, actually, and why would I tutor someone I don't even know?"
He seemed taken aback. "Because I'm the quarterback?"
I laughed, "dude get over yourself, I like just figured out who you are."
"Really?" The shock was evident in his face. "Haven't you seen it on the rosters?"
At this point I was exhausted from this guy's ego, and I wanted to just go home. "I don't pay attention to stuff like that. Now can you move out of the way so I can go?"
I started to stand up but there he was in front of me again.
"Listen, Summer, I know you're antisocial and crap but I need this. I'm gonna get kicked off the team if my grade gets any lower."
I stopped, first fact of the matter, this seemed really important to him. Second fact, he knew my name, when I didn't even remember his he knew.
I sighed and grabbed my tray off of the table. "I told you I'd think about it."
