And then I said "No." you know, like a liar

"Perhaps this is for the best."

Ayako whirled on her cousin, chakra whipping around with the heat of the sun, scorching the ground and evaporating part of the river instantly. .

"Hear me out."

She narrowed her eyes but reeled in her chakra.

"Several villages have been created, banding together to prevent Konoha from conquering other lands. Are you following?"

Ayako nodded. "Yes. We've been visiting them as they appear. You came with. It was fun. You got addicted to fried tomatoes. Oji-san bought a Dango Stand and decided to be a merchant for a bit."

Sharringon almost smiled at the reminder. "Yes. The Bijuu have always been feared by humans and the humans have been either ignored or outright hated by the Bijuu. This forced partnership and temporary life as a human may just change the way the Bijuu and Humans see each other. It could be like a thousand years ago again. I think you should step back and let the humans do what they will with the Bijuu, just until they learn what there is to learn about themselves and the humans."

Ayako glared, but Sharringon's logic made sense, which was her least favorite kind of logic. She was the goddess of chaos after all, while Sharingan was the god of order. Percy was neutral, both and neither.

"Do you really think they can learn to get along?"

"I do."

"Alright. I'll let them be sealed again. But the hosts need to be willing."

-----------
"She took Kushina! My grandbaby!"

The sun darkened with Ayako's rage.
Percy was troubled as well. He had thought that upon Mito's death, she would have enough sense to free her prisoner or pass him to a willing host like Ayako and Sharringon wanted, but instead had snatched an Uzumaki child visiting Konoha off the streets and sealed Kurama inside of her.

Most of the inhabitants of Konoha had been praying for forgiveness since, to both Ayako and Percy, and had collectively disowned Mito, destroying anything that recorded her existence and given her possessions to Kushina, who was an orphan of course because life hated her already.

Kushina was four, who had only been in Konoha to see if she wanted to go to Konoha and be a shinobi or stay in Uzu and be a priestess, and was highly distressed, knowing the fate of the last person who had trapped Kurama.

"I'll talk to her."  Sharringon said. "You two, try not to break anything important."

------------
"Uzumaki Kushina."

Kushina spun, eyes narrowed at the Uchiha who had appeared suddenly."Yeah! What do you want!?"

The Uchiha sighed, as if this was some great imposition.

Kushina geared up to start yelling. She had just escaped from the ANBU and now this uppity Uchiha was acting like talking to her was killing him slowly.

"I came to tell you that which you fear shall never come to pass. She acknowledges that you are a victim in this. Your fate will not that of Uzumaki Mito."

"Wait, what?" Kushina said, only for the Uchiha to vanish in a flock of crows.

Feathers flew everywhere and the Uzumaki stared in wonder at where the god once stood.

----------------
Uzu was under attack, from far too many sides.

The seals were fading, the walls crumbling under the onslaught or three major villages trying to wipe Nemuru Kami's homeland off the face of the map.

So Percy did what he had to to protect his sisters family.

High above the battle, the Great Dragon roared.

____________
"Kushina-chan."

Kushina Uzumaki raised her head, surprised to see another person in the Sakura tree. "Who are you?"

It was another kid, a little older than her, with green eyes, black hair. He looked so tired, Kushina thought, even worse then she felt.

"You met my son three years ago. I've come to tell you the truth behind Uzu's disappearance and take you home if you want to join them."

__________
"So she said no?"

Percy smiled sadly. "She didn't want to trap Kurama in a pocket dimension where nothing ever changed."

Ayako nodded. "Trapped between the world of the living, and the purelands. Sure you couldn't do something better?"

Percy gritted his teeth. "I was a bit pressed for time."

Ayako kicked her legs, dragon form shimmering just behind her in this place where the spiritual and the physical walked hand in hand.

The Uzu ruins in this world were already getting a reputation as incredibly haunted, as the Uzumaki world bled through, allowing sounds and occasional sights to appear in the real world.

They would be safe there, as it was easy for gods to pass back and forth, although it was a one way trip for humans and bijuu, trapped on the other side of the Veil, next door neighbors to the court of the Shinigami.

Percy was sad that the Uzumaki could no longer share their brilliance with the world but Estelle's family was grateful. They would be dead and separated if it wasn't for him. Now, their children had a chance to grow old in true peace and Kushina could rebuild their once mighty clan in the real world.

"Remember what you said to me, when you created Uzu Island?"

Percy blinked, torn from his musings. "Yeah."

"I think this is the Ultimate Kyoshi."

Percy almost laughed.
