A baffled expression rested on her face, confusion etched to her very features, her forehead creasing as she looked at her glowing hands.

"Rosaria-san's nen..." She repeated to herself as if trying to confirm what was happening at that moment. The figure of a person suddenly enveloped her, and knowing that it was the nen of another person, she expected the same effects and functions.

However it had a similar effect instead, it took away her fatigue and mental exhaustion. The heavy baggage on her mind slowly easing away into a warm fuzzy feeling. She looked more confused than ever, how in the world was the nen so similar yet slightly different than the original?

Did she adapt it to another nen and made it her own?

A ting seemed to have sounded inside her mind, finally creating a plausible hypothesis about the situation.

First, how did the nen manifest?

She felt the emotional and mental baggage dawning on her, that almost made her break down.

Was there a situation she could possibly link to this?

Earlier when dining with Gon and Killua, the materials that she needed was suddenly drawn from thin air. At first she didn't mind because it was probably anime logic.

Third, she was now certain that she isn't a manipulator.

She had never underwent the water divination, since Hisoka was always away, and she developed her nen when he was not around as well. She actually kept from Hisoka that she had discovered her nen at such a young age.

All Hisoka knows is that, her nen nodes had been opened when he practice sparred with her. Hoping to already hone her as a warrior from such a young age.

Of course Hisoka could feel the change in her aura, since it was in a constant Ten. But he just assumed that after opening her nodes, her aura instinctively conserved itself.

He knew that she was a prodigy, but never to this level.

Now she has come to a conclusion, she can manifest a nen as long as her body mind deemed to need it. So now that she has come to a conclusion, she planted her foot on the ground and imagined a nen that would help her track Illumi under the ground.

"NANII?! Why isn't it working?!" She stomped her foot angrily, almost on the verge of dishing out a full-on tantrum. Her small lips were now pouting so much as tears of frustration began to form on the corners of her eyes.

What was she missing? Was her conclusion entirely wrong, and her thinking was completely flawed?

But if that was not how her Nen worked then how in the world does it function?

She tried remembering every detail, how Rosaria-san's nen appeared, what she felt, where she was, what she remembered.

"Ah! I got it! I can only produce a nen that I am familiar with! And then, adapt it to be a similar one! The trick I did with pulling the plates out of thin air was like Miku-chan's inventory!"

So with a more concrete idea, she started thinking of a nen that she can copy-- and then tweak a little. She wasn't copying their nen, she was just simply taking inspiration from it.

Finally, remembering another fellow that Hisoka had brought with Illumi, a random man that they had used for a mission. She didn't witness the man's nen at work, but the fellow was fond of kids. So when she curiously asked, he answered. Assuming that she wouldn't remember since she was a child.

But she is a prodigy. A nen genius born after several centuries.

Her feet started accumulating aura. This aura felt far from how the blue aura felt like. This one was not soothing nor comforting, it felt like when she was using her Divine Words, it was a feeling of getting restrictions. The repercussions of using nen.

But she didn't mind it, not when she finally felt the vibrations on the ground, feeling every movement every breath that touched the soil.

"I found you, Illumi-nii."

.~*~.

A|N : Her nen is pretty confusing. I'll be explaining how it works in the next chapter!
