"Happy Birthday Ma'am, the breakfast is ready" Manang Flora said when she saw me exited the CR. She was already cleaning my room when I was cleaning myself.
"Thank you, Where's Dad?" Tanong ko sakanya.
"Nasa kusina na po si Sir, kumakain na po sila" Did I heard it right? Sila? Who is he with nanaman ba?
"Who is he with?" instead of answering me, Manang Flora just shrugged her shoulders and smirked.
Ngumingisi ba siya? I already know what does that mean. He's probably with another woman again. I put a simple makeup first and straighten my hair. Just a simple make up will do. Ganyan talaga kapag Erin Quintrell, no need to put too much makeup. Simple make up lang gorgeous na agad.
"Ganda niyo po Ma'am" Manang Flora said while looking at me.
"I know right" natawa naman si Manang Flora dahil sa sinabi ko.
"Maganda ba 'yong dinala?" tanong ko kay Manang habang papapababa kami.
"Naku Ma'am, mas maganda' yong ngayon kesa do'n sa last month" naks, let's see if Manang Flora is telling the truth.
Pagkadating ko sa kitchen at nakita ko si Daddy na kumakain together with his new toy. I can't clearly see her face but I think she's pretty naman.
Dad must have sensed my presence so he stopped eating and looked at me.
"Happy Birthday My Princess" Princess my ass.
Lumapit ako at saka hinalikan sa pisngi si Daddy. "Thanks" maikling saad ko sa kanya.The lady beside him was about to give me a beso but I interfered my hand in front of us which made the both of them shocked.
" I'm allergic to snakes" I said and pulled the chair so that I can Sit.
" Erin, this is Ma--" I've cut what he was about to say.
"Malandi? Did I guess it right? Fck talino ko" ani ko at pekeng tumawa. Nakita ko naman sa peripheral vision ko na biglang napasimangot 'yong babae.
" Where's my dog anyway?" I asked while eating the bacon.
"I was not be able to buy one because I was busy for the past few weeks" he responded. Aso lang hinihingi ko ba' t hindi niya pa nabili?
" Lol, busy of what? You're busy with your new kabit ba?" naiiritang ani ko at tinignan ang babae niya.
"You're so funny Dad. I asked for a dog yet you've brought a Snake" I said and faked a laugh.
"What can snakes do Anyway? They're useless. You should've spent your money on something that is worth it" I said as I sipped my tea.
" "Erin!" Dad yelled.
"What? I'm right naman hindi ba? She's a worthless snake" ani ko at tumayo na.
I don't care what she'll feel tho. Kahit ipaglandakan pa niya na I'm Maldita, I won't give a damn. I'll go with her pa to spread it. I picked up the paper bag that is for Nia at inabot na sa'kin ni Manang Flora ang Bag ko.
"Where are you going? What are your plans for this day?" tanong sa'kin ni Dad pagkatayo ko.
"To school? I'll go na, My day is already ruined thanks to your kabit. I'll celebrate my birthday with Nia as usual, and I'll probably buy a new dog for myself nalang since you've bought the wrong animal" I responded
Nakita ko naman ang paghawak ni Dad sa kamay no'ng babae to comfort her since the woman was about to cry. Buti naman. Dad can't raised his voice at me because I'm his only child. No matter what I say to his mistresses, hindi niya ako pinagsasalitaan. They're just his toys anyways, iba nanaman makakasama ni Dad next month.
