"Why are you accusing Mateo of something like this?"
"He did it!"
"He was on a business trip!"
"NO HE WASN'T!"
"Don't raise your voice at me young man!"
"You guys told me Rose and Shane wanted to run away together."
"No! We didn't!"
"You were drunk!"
"You relapsed!"
"You are so lucky you don't live here anymore Adrian."
"Rosemary I want you OUT of this house by the end of next week!"
My heart just shattered.
"Mommy... I'm not lying!"
"You might as well tell Malakai the truth."
"She has!"
"You don't know that!"
"Yes I do! She showed up to my house with a thumb drive! She said everything was on it!"
"Well did you watch it?"
"No! I gave it to the cops!"
"Then how do you know she's not lying?"
"I trust her!"
"She's been lying to you!"
"She's been cheating on you with Shane!"
"NO! SHE HASN'T!"
"The three of you are no longer allowed in this house. After you get her crap out I never want to see any of you again!"
"What are you doing Hailey? Why are you taking his side?!"
"I trust him and Shane!"
"So you're siding with people who aren't even your own flesh and blood?!"

"Calling Ruby. I'm telling her to get over here to help you get Rosemary's crap out of my house."

"I assume you have somewhere else to go. Or do you want me to send you to your father?"
"She'll stay with me!"
I saw my dad walk in.
"Hailey? What's going on?"
"Dad?!"
"How did you find us?!"
"My sister called. She said she saw Rose in the hospital recently."
"Do you want to tell him what's going on? Or should I?!"
