                    Malakai's POV
"RISE AND SHINE MALLY!"

"AH! WHAT THE HELL ROSE?!"

"I heard you weren't waking up so I woke you up."

"You didn't have to scare me."

"I actually did. The other ways I tried didn't work. I almost poured water on you."

"Good thing you didn't."

"Get dressed!"

"Why?"

"You're going to the soccer game!"

"Don't you know I don't go to games?"

"Well it's about time you started!"

"Ugh. Why?"

"It'd be good if you got out of the house. The guys are going."

"Just because they go doesn't mean I have to."

"One game! Just go to one game! Please! I'll be your best friend!"

"You already are."

"Get up! Get up! Come on! Your brother wants to go!"

"Fine. I'll go to one game. Can you leave so I can get dressed?"

"Mhm!"

After she left my room I closed the door then got ready. When I was ready I walked out of my room. Rose dragged me out of the house. Her leg started bouncing once she was in the car.

"Where are we going? Like where is the game?"

"At the field at school."

"So it's a high school game?"

"Yeah."

Chris opened the car door right after my dad parked. Rose and I ran after him.

"Christian! Slow down!"

"Where are you going?"

"I'm finding a seat!"

"Woah! Slow down little man!"

"Wow. She did it. She got him out of the house."

"Enjoy it while you can. This is the only game I'll be at."

We sat down and her leg started bouncing again.

"What's wrong?"

"Can I ask you something?"

"Sure."

"Come with me."

We got up and walked behind the bleachers.

"What's up?"

"If you liked someone would you tell them?"

Oh.

She must like someone.

It's probably one of the guys.

There's no way it's me.

"Well I do like someone. I'm just scared I'll get rejected."

"Well how would you tell them?"

"I've actually never thought about that. I guess I would just say it."

"What if you loved someone?"

"That seems like a different thing. Who is it?"

"He's taller than me. He's got light brown hair with hazel eyes. He's a few months younger than me."
