Aria is now 3 and Elizabeth is now I think 13? Aria carries those damn figures everywhere. Whenever I had to go somewhere to sign something we started bringing Aria and Elizabeth with us. The guys were finally done with college and moved back to Florida. Yes all of them moved back. They all have girlfriends too. Christian ended up dating Nathan Owens. Jackson is dating Jenna Nash. Noah is dating Tiffany Elliot. Leon is dating Melina Hawkins. Harrison is dating Cassie Lloyd. Blake is dating Britney Britton.
"Rose? Where are you?"
"Where do you think I am?"
"By a computer?"
"Correct!"
"Has anyone seen Ari?"
I heard a set of footsteps running towards me.
"I'm here!"
"Someone learned a new word. Do you know where your cousin is?"
She shook her head.
"Wanna go find her?"
She nodded. I picked her up and we started looking around the house for Elizabeth.
"Do you think mommy knows where she is?"
She shook her head again.
"Elizabeth!"
"Mavey!"
"No. Wrong person. You're thinking of Maverick. Try again. We're looking for Elizabeth."
"E-eliz-LIBBY!"
"That...works I guess. LIBBY! Maybe she has her headphones on."
We looked in every room.
"Hey babe? Is Liz with you?"
"Yes! I have her!"
"Phew! Mommy has her."
There was a knock on the door so I went to open it.
"Who do you think it is? One of your crazy uncles?"
I opened the door and saw one of the people Rose and I hate.
"Is this my granddaughter?"
"F off! You're NOT her grandmother!"
I saw Hailey lift a hand and I immediately turned my body away from her.
"No. Don't touch her."
"Who that?"
"Someone you're never gonna know."
"It hurts hearing you say that to her!"
"Well you're the reason I'm telling her that."
"You can't do this!!"
"Stand down Hailey. You're not winning."
"Why?!"
"You kicked Rosemary out when she needed you. You didn't believe her."
"He did nothing!"
"Really? You're joking right? This is EXACTLY why she won't know you. You defending him is holding you back from even seeing her."
"But your sister let you see your niece."
"YOU DO NOT GET TO TALK ABOUT MY SISTER! How did you even know that?! You watched the news didn't you?"
"No. I was in the courtroom. I left before you noticed."
I shut the door and locked it.
"Let's go tell your mother who's at the door. I'm sure she's gonna be thrilled." I said sarcastically.
