NextMorning, 7am.

"You put the bags in the truck already?" I looked at Kentrell as he put his shoes on.

"Yeah." He said and I nodded.

"You ready?" He grabbed my hand and I turned my light off.

"Yup." I replied as we walked downstairs.

"I'm sleepy as hell." Ari mumbled, getting up from the couch.

"Sleep when you're dead." Kd mocked the tiktok and I laughed.

"Get out her face." Jayda thumped him, taking a Prenatal.

"You took your shit?" Kentrell looked at me and I nodded.

"What about you?" He looked at Ari and she rolled her eyes.

"You ain't my damn daddy nor my baby's father. Don't be worried bout me." She laughed.

"Ariana." He stalefaced her.

"Yes, I took my vitamins father." She rolled her eyes, walking out the door.

Kentrell and I were the last ones to walk out, and I turned around, locking the door.

I put the key under the brick, dusting my hands off.

Kentrell grabbed my hand, and we climbed on the RV.

"Who driving first?" Ben asked.

"I will." I walked to the driver seat.

"I need some Mayo." Ari frowned, eating the fruit bowl I bought her.

"Ben where are my peanut butter crackers?" Jayda looked around, in her moo moo.

"What the fuck do you have on?" Kd laughed at her.

"Get out my business bitch. Or whatever rod wave said." She sat on the recliner, eating the crackers Ben gave her.

I sat in the driver seat, looking for my fruit snacks.

"Here." Kentrell passed them to me, and I smiled.

"Thank you baby." I laughed, and he sat in the passenger seat.

"Can we stop in Baton Rouge? It's along the way anyways." Kd walked up to me asking.

I looked at Kentrell and he shrugged.

"Yeah." I told KD and he smiled, walking back to his seat.

I pulled off the side of the road, and out of my mom's neighborhood.

"Y'all tryna listen to Khia?" I called out.

"Fuck no!" Ben yelled and I laughed.

"I ain't even sleepy no more to be honest." Ari said, scrolling on her phone.
