Ch. 51: Saving the Sea Boys

As Akiko's determination was restored, she worked up the physical strength to bust the cage open as she and the others trapped managed to try to run to the truck that was taking Luca and Alberto away. Ercole, who was driving the truck, got out of the vehicle, along with five more Assassins, as the Assassins apprehended Akiko, Bella, Astro, and Ciccio. The fifth Assassin just trapped Trollex in a glass jar. Ercole walked in front of them all and looked at Akiko, deciding what to do with her and the other four. "Kill them." Ercole said dismissively. As the Assassins were about to direct Akiko and her group to the edge of the bridge to throw them off, Bella punched the Assassin that had her arms, and took the jar that Trollex was trapped in, and smashed it. Toby just flew high in the sky, breaking out of an Assassin's grasp. Ciccio broke free from another Assassin's grasp as the Assassin tried grabbing his arms, Ciccio pushed the Assassin, using all his strength, and ran with Bella, Trollex, and Toby. Akiko struggled a bit, but when she broke free, the Assassin tried grabbing her again, but Akiko was too fast as she grabbed the Assassin's face and kneed the Assassin right in the middle of his forehead. The Assassin collapsed, unconscious. Akiko started running, then stopped to look at the Assassins, who were on the floor either knocked out or weak. Her facial expression conveyed determination as she continued running to catch up with her group. Akiko saw another Helicopter swarm down as ten more Assassins jumped out and almost surrounded Ciccio. Akiko was concerned. "Ciccio!" She yelled as she pushed him out of the way of the Assassins, resulting in her getting caught again. Ciccio stopped running to see his friend risking her life. "No!" Bella yelled.
"Go on, guys! Keep going!" Akiko replied. Bella nodded modestly as she led Ciccio and Astro the other way. "Come on!" She yelled. Akiko was able to fight the Assassins off for the most part, but those Assassins kept coming back everytime Akiko took five or six steps. Eventually, she couldn't fight the Assassins. "You're not going anywhere." One of the Assassins said as he grabbed Akiko's arms. Akiko tried to fight the Assassin off as the Assassin was too strong. Bella saw the situation from where she was. "AKIKO!" She boomed, scared for her childhood friend.
"Dobbiamo andare!" Ciccio exclaimed. Bella uneasily continued running. From below the bridge, a boy was holding onto a vine, trying to climb back up. That boy was the one that tried fighting Ercole before he fell. Guido was alive! He heard the situation from where he was hanging onto the vine and decided to work up all of his courage and strength to climb back up to the bridge and help his newfound friends. There were multiple vines he could climb, and all of them were different lengths, so Guido could use them almost as stairs. As he climbed the vines, he eventually climbed onto a longer one that was in a rather tall tree. The tree was even taller than the bridge! As Guido climbed to the bridge at eye level, he saw the Assassins swarming Akiko. He jumped onto the vine and swung in the direction of the mob of Assassins. Akiko saw the familiar boy and was shocked and relieved. "GUIDO!" She boomed as her hair turned a combination of green and pink, making a brownish pink color, indicating that she was feeling a mix of relief and thankfulness. She was both relieved and thankful that Guido didn't die because of the fall. Guido slid down the vine and landed feet first on the ground, causing a ricochet. The ricochet was a reddish orange color, because that was a color that described him. As Akiko was shocked, Guido reached out his hand for the girl to take it. "Princess!" He exclaimed. Akiko took Guido's hand as Guido pulled her in a side hug as he jumped onto the vine once more and swung to where the actual battle was taking place. When Guido and Akiko flew over the battle, Akiko nodded, indicating that it was okay for Guido to land them both. Akiko and Guido both landed epically on the pavement path that followed the bridge. Toby continued running as Bella and Ciccio were relieved to see their friends. "Akiko! Guido!" Bella yelled.
"Guido! Akiko!" Ciccio added. Toby stopped running as he heard his friends' names again. He was relieved! Akiko and Guido caught up with the rest of the group as they saw the Assassin's truck driving to the Helicopter, getting ready to attach the metal cage that Luca and Alberto were trapped in, and take them away to a facility where they would be annihilated! Luckily, Akiko's horse, Serenity, was just around the corner as she scooped up Akiko and Guido. Serenity ran as fast as she could and dropped Akiko off to where she could run by herself and try to save the Sea Boys. Akiko saw the Helicopter about to take off as she reached her hand out to Alberto, whose hand was reaching through the window. Akiko wasn't fast enough as the Helicopter took off as soon as Akiko got close enough. Akiko's hair turned white, indicating fear as she had a small emotional breakdown. "No!" Bella yelled. Akiko frowned. "They're gone." She said. "Now we'll never get them back to Portorosso." Akiko finished as she put her hand on her heart. Guido jumped off Serenity's back and grabbed Akiko's shoulders and turned her around for her to face him. "No! It's not over. We can still save them! We've come this far." He said as he gently shook her. Akiko looked into Guido's brown eyes. "Don't give up on them, Princess." Guido finished. Akiko gained determination again and smiled as her hair turned hot pink, indicating affection. She then turned away from Guido's gaze, looking at the Helicopter, and started running. Guido nodded. "ANDIAMO!" He hollered as he followed and gestured for the rest of the group to run behind as well. Serenity stood on her hind legs and kicked her front legs repeatedly as she neighed loudly. She then started running with the group. As Akiko and her group were running, trying to catch up to the Helicopter, Luca and Alberto, inside the container, were shocked. "What are they doing?! They're gonna get themselves killed!" Alberto yelled. Outside, as Akiko ran, another Helicopter swarmed by and pushed Akiko to the edge of the pavement, causing Akiko to almost fall off. Guido saw Akiko falling just in time. "Grab her!" He yelled as Bella, Astro, Ciccio, and Guido hugged Akiko to stop her from falling. Akiko got back up and hunch over. She nodded. "We have to stop them!" Akiko yelled as the group ran behind her. Moments later, Akiko flew high into the sky to try and catch up to the Helicopter. Akiko was then knocked out of the sky by one of the Assassins in the Helicopter. Guido and the others stopped to see Akiko being thrown off. They weren't near her to help. "No!" Guido yelled as he reached out. Bella was scared, but then saw that Akiko dropped her Violin while running. The girl got an idea as she ran to the Violin, got it out of its case, and played the lowest 'A' note on the Violin and made three whole octaves. She radiated a fast-travelling stream of Musical Positive Energy, but instead of the stream being pink, it was ultramarine blue, which was Bella's favorite color. The Positive Energy struck the Helicopter as the Helicopter started to malfunction. Astro thought of this as the perfect opportunity to find Akiko. After he found the girl, he picked her back up and set her down on the pavement. Akiko then used her powers to strike down the Helicopter as the Helicopter fell hard. The metal container broke into pieces as Luca and Alberto were midair for three seconds before looking down and plummeting fast. When Luca and Alberto were close enough to the ground, Akiko formed a protective, floating bubble to secure them and gently descended the bubble. After the bubble gently reached the ground, it popped, letting Luca and Alberto run to the rest of the group. Alberto jumped into Akiko's arms as Luca did the same. Everyone else joined in the hug as Serenity nuzzled Alberto's cheek. Alberto took his free hand and placed it on Serenity's muzzle as he smiled. Oz, who was in a vehicle, woke Echo up by lightly shaking him. He then helped the young Assassin out of the car. Xavier and Fleet also emerged from the car as Ercole landed hard on a trampoline-like base. As the trampoline base disappeared, he fell just a few inches to the ground as he landed on his stomach. Echo, Oz, Xavier, and Fleet ran over to the group as everyone was already released from the hug. Then, Echo heard Ercole try getting up. Echo started to walk to Ercole as Akiko stopped him in his tracks. "Ah-ah-ah-ah!" She said as she put a hand out in front of him. Akiko silently explained that she could handle it. Right as Akiko took three steps, Serenity intentionally bumped Akiko out of the way and walked to Ercole. "Serenity?" Akiko was curious. As Serenity got to Ercole, she turned around so that her hind legs faced the Binturi. Moments later, Serenity kicked Ercole, with her hind legs, right in the middle of Ercole's face as Ercole was knocked back. Xavier and Fleet took him away. "Ercole Visconti, you are under arrest for kidnapping, child abuse, and attempted murder." Fleet said. Ercole was furious. "You can't arrest me! I still have to kill those Sea Monsters!" He yelled.
"They're not the Monsters, Ercole!" Bella exclaimed.
"The real Monster is you!" Akiko agreed as Ercole was taken away for arrest. The group shared laughs as Bella, with Akiko's Violin in hand, walked up to her friend. The American girl smiled as she returned the Violin to her Japanese Sister. Akiko was shocked. "YOU sent that Positive Energy stream? From my Violin?" She asked. Bella just nodded. Akiko smiled warmly, almost breaking into tears of joy. "Bella! あなたはそれらを保存しました！" She exclaimed as she hugged her American Sister. Bella hugged Akiko back, smiling warmly. "We all saved them." She said as she released Akiko from the hug.
