Tears streamed down our faces as we looked at the now corpse (choke me like you hate me but you love me. I'll stop now-) of my father. I turned around and hugged them both tightly, trying to block what was going on behind us.

The white witch looked up and shouted.
''The great cat is dead!''
This caused a great uproar making me cry even more.
''General. Prepare your troops for battle.''
She ordered the minotaur and it bowed it's head.
''However short it may be.''

After the witch and her troops left, Susan, Lucy and I walked towards the stone table. I ran up and hugged his body, cradling his head. Lucy sat down and reached for her elixir but Susan stopped her.
''It's too late, he's gone...''
She too sat down next to father.

''He must have known what he was doing.''
I reassured Lucy but in reality was trying to reassure myself more. We all lied down on Aslan, hugging and weeping until we heard the sounds of ropes breaking so we looked up to see mice chewing at the ropes.

''Get away! Get away, all of you!''
Susan tried to usher them away but me and Lucy stopped her.
''No, look.''
Lucy spoke.
''They're untying him...''
I dragged the ripped of ropes off of father.

''We have to tell the others.''
Susan told us.
I shot up and protested.
''We can't just leave him!''
''Y/n, there's no time! They need to know.''

''Wait, Y/n. The trees can tell them!''
The leaves rustled as if they were agreeing and flew with the wind, in the direction of camp.
