CRIME (The Owners Series #1)

Chapter 4

THE SUN BRIGHT. I looked for my phone on the nightstand and find our schedule for today. Today is Tuesday. New day, new me. 

We have classes for him. Second Period. I didn't dash myself for my routine, I'm not going to attend the first class. Facing my mirror, I look simply. That's why he didn't take me seriously. My hand touches my bright maroon lipstick and throw the nude one. I just don't want to be simple when I can be stunning.

My eyes glittered from the eyeshadow that I put. No one can say that I look simple anymore. I drive away and went to school. 

Looks like I'm late again. No students everywhere and the room's door were closed. Teachers already teaching. 

I smiled. 

The second period started.

Walking to the hallways, passing the rooms, seeing students eyed me. I smiled. I'm not nervous being late anymore. I enjoyed not attending the first period. 

My knuckles knocked on the door. 

Seconds later, the door opened. 

Mr. Martines show in front of me. My smile became bright. His brows frowned, pointed nose, lips. My day is brand new, then God welcomed me with his face. 

I'm bless.

"You're late." His first words for me.

His powerful aura today made me weak. My heart skipped a beat. I met his eyes, yet he shifts it somewhere. Why? Because I already saw you deadly naked? 

He even swallowed. And I was like waiting for him to lay his eyes for me again. 

"I'm sorry, Mr. Martines." My voice sound vulnerable yet I love how he shift his eyes in different places.

"You may enter." He ended it and walked towards the center.

My evil smile still on my lips. I entered and looked for Everett. She stared at me and patted the chair next to her. I went to that place and seated next to her.

"Ano sabi ni sir sayo?" She whispered at me while Mr. Martines is discussing.

I shrugged and looked closely to Mr. Martines. His eyes never looked at our place. The subject that he's teaching is Math. Starting kinder I never like math, but now I cut the first period and directly opened my day with a math class. Staring at him all the damn time. 

"What do you think is the answer?" He asked and faced the students.

I raised my hand. Many students done it too, but he saw me did it first. He noticed Opia raised her hand. 

Mas tinaas ko pa ang kamay ko para mapansin niya ako.  

"Opia, what's the answer?" He called her out and didn't looked for me. Binaba ko ang kamay ko.

"Sir, It's a yes. You can't divide them because of the different properties." She perfectly got my answer.

Automatically, a smile pasted on his face. I scoffed.

What was that? Did he just smiled for her answer? What!?

"Very Good, Opia." He exclaimed. First name basis.

He glanced at me but then didn't last long he continued discussing again. I gritted my teeth, he just smiled for her! How about me? I'm an air here. You can eel me but don't see me?
