Untitled Part 22

"Hi Brian." I grinned when I answered my phone.

A month later, we are beginning to act like a real couple. We spend most of our days and nights together. I find myself falling harder for Brian with each day that passes. Despite how we started out, I really enjoy our time together.

"Kia!" Jimmy yelled into the phone.

"Jimmy?" I asked.

I could of sworn it was Brian's number that came up on my phone. I checked the screen again. It's Brian's number, so why is Jimmy calling me?

"Yeah. It's Jimmy. I need you to take me somewhere." He said anxiously.

"What? Where are you?" I asked.

"The studio. Pick me up. Please?" He whined.

"Uh, ok. Give me an address." I said.

Ten minutes later, I arrived at their studio. I've never been here before. Brian has invited me, but I always felt I would interfere with him working.

Jimmy bounded out the door, jumping into my car. He smiled widely at me. I slowly pulled away, still confused about why I had to pick him up.

"Um, where are we going?" I asked while I drove.

"Take a right up here, then follow it to Main street. Then take a left." He instructed.

Alright. That doesn't answer my question, but sure. I'll drive him wherever I guess.

My phone rang and Jimmy laughed when he saw Brian's name come up. Jimmy hit speakerphone on it.

"Hello, Brian." Jimmy snickered.

"Goddamn it, Jimmy! Where the hell are you? And why in the fuck did you have my girlfriend pick you up?" Brian growled into the phone.

"That's classified information." Jimmy smiled.

"I'm fine, Brian." I laughed.

"Hi baby." Brian said, his tone much lighter.

"Hi." I giggled.

"We will be back in a bit. Can't talk now. Busy with a mission." Jimmy said, hanging up the phone.

Jimmy's directions eventually lead me to a toy store. I grinned at him when I pulled in the lot. Parking the car I looked at him curiously.

"Let's go. We got important shit to do!" He insisted, getting out.

Going to a toy store with Jimmy was an experience I'll never forget. He set off every toy that could talk or make noise when we went down the aisle. He would dart off in another direction if I turned my back for too long.

This also lead to us playing hide and seek in the store.

I was having a blast with him. We sat down and used Legos to build a small house. Once Jimmy was bored with that, he walked us to a section with children's bikes.

"I gotta test drive at least one." He smiled.

I ended up on the front of the handlebars on the bike, while Jimmy rode it. This didn't last long, as an employee told us to stop.

We found some costumes for adults when we hit another aisle. Jimmy found a cape and a crown, along with a sword. He insisted on me wearing some sheer long skirt and gave me a sword too. Then he topped it off with a tiara. I giggled as we had a dual.

Finally, we hit the checkout line. I was buying him a plastic drum, and he insisted on buying me my costume.

"He's in love with you, you know that?" Jimmy told me as we drove back towards the studio.
