Chapter 1

Mitch walked out of his bedroom after a long hot shower toweling off his hair but allowing his body to air dry. He did it just to get a rise out of his friend. They had known each other forever and they knew each other inside and out. He loved seeing the tint of red rush across his best friend's cheeks as he took in Mitch's naked form. It was mean really especially when he was in a dry spell as far as the guy department went but he couldn't help it. Mitch came off very confident and sassy but deep down, seeing that tall blonde react to his body gave him a sense of self-esteem and confidence. If after all these years he could get a reaction out of Scott, he should be able to get a reaction out of any other guy he wanted.

Almost as if on cue Scott walked out of his room and saw Mitch stretched almost pushing his manhood forward as he raised his arm to dry the remainder of his damp hair. Scott blushed cherry red and let his gaze linger a little longer than was probably ok before shooting his eyes to the floor and stomping into the kitchen embarrassed and horNy as h&ll. It had been so long since he had felt the touch of any man he would have made a mess in his pants if he had stood staring much longer. Mitch giggled to himself and decided to goad his friend on a little more before he went to his room to dress for the day.

He walked into the kitchen seeing Scott leaned over the sink trying to calm himself and his raging hormones. "Are you ok Scottie? Something bothering you?" Mitch smirked knowing exactly what the problem was but he couldn't help hoping Scott would let his gaze fall on him in all his glory at least one more time. He was his best friend but Mitch couldn't help wondering what all the hype was about. I mean sure obviously Scott was hot and funny. He had the blondest almost white hair when he dyed it but when he let it go back to his natural state it was the most beautiful shade of dark blonde almost brown he had ever seen. Combine that with his sky blue laser gaze and his incredible jaw line and that boy was just delectable. Like the last SpongeBob treat off the ice cream truck yummy.

Scott turned trying to make his eyes focus on the upper part of his friend and ignore that fact that he was hanging all out in the open for his mind and eyes to wander. "I'm ok Mitchie but do you think you will get dressed soon. Anyone could come over here and see you. I have seen it a million times and I still blush imagine what Kirst or Avi would do if they saw you right now." Mitch laughed, "Kirstie would probably turn even redder than you if that was possible and as straight as I know Avi is, if he looked at me even half as h_orny as you just did, I just might give him a run for his money."

Scott laughed at the idea of Mitch and Avi together but couldn't understand what the small feeling was in the back of his mind. Was he really jealous of a silly thing Mitch had said? He couldn't control the little voice that uttered in his ear, "Why couldn't he think of us that way?" He shook his head trying to shake the thought away like a gnat buzzing in your ear. "Earth to Scotty you ok in there?" Mitch asked when Scott never responded and seemed to zone out. "Ha ha yeah I'm here, just picturing the fans now. Mavi, I totally ship it."  Mitch laughed as he reached over to open the refrigerator door and pull out a bottle of water. They had some on the top shelf but he decided to make Scott a little crazier and bend over to grab one from the bottom. Scott couldn't help but follow his movement with his eyes. He watched as the muscles worked in Mitch's legs and aSs as he bent to get the water and how his toned back stretched tightly as he made his way back up to a standing position.

Scott felt the front of his pants tighten to the point of uncomfortableness. He made a huff and rushed back to his room for a long shower and some relief. Mitch giggling knowing he had the effect he was hoping to have on his friend and walked into this room to get on some clothes before Scott spontaneously combusted. Mitch picked out his tightest black skinny jeans and his long astheteques shirt he loved so much. It made him look so thin but was still comfy enough for him to snuggle up in it. He styled his hair in the perfect swoop he always wore and made his daily curse at the one piece of hair that never seemed to stay the way he wanted. "DaMn you hair just do as mommy says." He finally gave in and finished his daily primping before walking back into their living room and waiting for his friend to emerge from his shower session. He knew he had rattled Scott's cage pretty hard this morning and loved the sense of pride he gained from imagining what was going on in that shower right now.

Scott finally emerged from his room bearing his normal snapback and joyrich tank top. He also wore tight black skinny jeans that hugged his hips like a mother hugging her baby. Tight and tender and beautiful. If Mitch was truly honest with himself, he enjoyed Scott's attention because deep down he had always wanted to see if anything could happen between them. They had been friends for years but never crossed that bridge. They were forever in the friend zone which wasn't bad because he was Mitch's number 1. He understood and knew him in ways no one could even begin to touch but Mitch wanted that chance to see if they could.

If there were any way for them to have that one night and see where it went without risking losing everything they had built all their lives, Mitch would be riding that pony three ways from Sunday. Since he was scared of losing the most important man in his life, he settled with teasing him endlessly and then using those looks to fulfill his needs alone late at night. Mitch knew he couldn't voice this all to Scott because it would spook him. Scott wasn't great with relationships. He couldn't think of one good and true relationship he ever had from the time they both came out until now. Scott had dated but never anything serious.

"Hey Mitchie are you off in your own little world or can I tempt you to walk to Starbucks with me? It's on me so you better take the chance while you have it." Mitch smiled at his friend so glad he had him. "Well when you put it that way mommy is quite parched." He stood up slipping on comfy shoes before following his bestie out the door to their favorite coffee shop. They walked slowly enjoying the sunshine and warmth of the L.A. weather. Texas wasn't a bad place to live but Cali was sunshine every day. There wasn't much better than California weather. Scott linked his hand with Mitch's similar to how they would walk almost every day. They waffled their fingers and walked the slow progression to get the liquid life they both craved.

Once their savage coffee beasts had been slayed they walked back to their apartment, again holding hands and enjoying the warmth of the sun before making their way upstairs and sitting beside each other on the couch. "Oh Mitchie we have got to get to the beach today. It is too pretty to waste this day inside." Mitch looked at his friend and laughed at his excitement. He was like a kid on Christmas bouncing up and down on the balls of his feet begging for his presents. "Sounds good to me let's see if the rest of the gang wants to come along." Mitch dialed up Kirstie, Avi, and Kevin in a group chat to invite them to enjoy the beautiful day. They all agreed to meet them at the beach in one hour. Mitch informed Scott and they both walked away to get swim trunks and beach necessities. As they met back up in the common area, Scott took Mitch's bag and led him out of the door. When they reached the bottom stairs of the complex they were shocked to see Mitch's mom exiting a taxi and walking in their direction. Mitch smiled but was worried because she didn't even tell him she was coming. Nell was never unpredictable. She was always conscious of Mitch's personal space and would never invite herself. Mitch met her halfway and took her bag she was carrying. "Mom what's up? We were just headed to the beach is everything ok?" His mom looked at him with weary eyes. "Mitchie lets go somewhere private there are some things you don't know about that you really have to know right now."

Mitch was confused but showed his mom back up to their place unlocking the recently closed door and leading her to have a seat. "Is it ok if Scott stays around or does this need to be between us?" Mitch asked as Scott walked into the room making his way towards his bedroom. "It's probably best he stays dear you are going to probably want the emotional support he can give you." Mitch was getting scared at his mom's words. "Mom is dad ok? Please don't tell me something happened to him?" His mom waved away his concern, "He's fine Mitch. The reason I'm here isn't something bad it's just shocking. Do you remember the one girlfriend you had before you came out Chloe?" Mitch nodded not sure why his mom was bringing her up. "I haven't seen her since we broke up, why would you bring her up?" His mom didn't meet his eyes, "Well you didn't see her because her parents moved them away. She ended up pregnant and according to her, you are the father."
