Hailee's POV
At sound check
I had just finished my soundcheck, so now I was sitting and waiting for the girls to do theirs. And there she was. Ash came onto the stage and sat by her drums. This was actually the first time I would hear her play. Then the girls came onto the stage, and they started rehearsing to 'Weird People' but I didn't listen to any of the girls. I had my eyes glued onto Ash, while she was drumming. She looked down at me and gave me a smile. I smiled at her with pride, making her know that I believed in her. When they were done, the girls headed backstage to finish getting ready. Ash had stayed behind, so I jumped up on stage and went over to her.
"You're really good." I said, smiling at her.
"Thanks, so are you." she said as she stood up.
"We should probably get ready, I have to be on stage in an hour and a half." I said, and held my hand out for her. She took it and we went backstage to get ready.
