Just walking home
Just in the dark
Just on the streets I know
Just passing by a stranger
Just an old man
Just asked me for my name
Just didn't think I had to answer
But I passed him
A little to quickly I guess
And he rapidly caught my arm
Gripped it
Sunk his grimy fingernails into my soft skin
Making mini streams of red
Pour down past my elbow
Tore my skirt
Like it was nothing
Tore into me
Like I was nothing
And then, he was just -Gone-
But really,
My sanity went with him too.
