a year later, 4 days before the wedding.
"AHHHHHHHHHH" i hear chris scream from across the warehouse. "why is that necessary?" i laugh at him. "im so stressed" he lays on the ground having a temper tantrum. "what's stressing you" i say standing above him.

"everything! i had to pick out a cake, pay the caterers, plan the food, get a suit. i need a nap and an aspirin!" he stands up walking back and forth. "well we're almost done ok? it's only 4 more days then it's all over" i rub his shoulder. "WHAT ABOUT THE HONEYMOON" he yells. i put my hand over his mouth. "let's go get you that aspirin." i pull him.

"what's songs should we play for our dance?" i ask scrolling on spotify. "because i have no idea" i laugh. "oh! i have an idea" chris perks up. he takes my phone from my hand looking something up. "I hear a Symphony?" i chuckle. "yes, it's a great song. when i listen to it sounds like when i fell in love with you" he says through a cheeky grin. "yuck" i say fake gagging. "you'll like it asshole" he smiles.

"perfect!" maddie squeals looking at me uncomfortable in the dress. "what is it?" she sighs. "nothing i just feel like if i breath too hard i'll rip it" i gasp for air. "oh goodness!" she unzips the dress. "maybe something that i would actually wear" i look through the dresses. dragging my fingers on the fabrics, i stop and pull out a dress. i gasp. "what?" maddie runs up to me.

"oh my, that is beautiful." she holds it. it was a line/princess off the shoulder tulle applique, sleeveless sweep/brush train dress. absolutely gorgeous. "i mean it's black though" she gazed at it. "yeah and i'm a messy eater so i can't wear white" i take the dress off the rack. walking into the dressing room, excited to try it on.

the dress perfectly fit my not so skinny figure, the side weren't too tight or too loose. i walked out of the dressing room, picking up the ends of it so i don't step on them. "wow" maddie gasps. "you like?" i twirl, laughing at myself. "stunning" she smiles. "do you think a flower crown would look good with this?" i look in the mirror, imaging a bunch of flowers around my head. "absolutely" she puts her hands on my shoulders.

we walked out the store. "dress, check" she writes in her notebook. "you wrote a checklist?" i chuckle. "yes because as the wedding planner i'm making sure it's perfect" she nods. "speaking of the wedding, has chris paid the caterers?" she asks. "i think jimmy's got that covered" she squeals again. "im just so excited!" she jumps. "is something wrong?" she asks me. "just a little nervous." i scratch my head. "think of it as this, you get to spend the rest of your life with your love and you get to celebrate it"

chris pov:
"you know what, cat was right. it's all gonna be worth it" i saïd confidently. "yeah you're still nervous" jimmy rolls his eyes. "i can't help it!" i groan my way onto the couch. "just think of it as this, you get to spend the rest of your life with your love and you get to celebrate it" he says as if it were planned. "maddie told you to say that" i cross my arms. "yup" he sits down.

3 days until wedding
"just let me see it!" chris begs. "are you new?" i shake my head. he looks at me confused. "were you born yesterday? it's bad luck to see the dress before the wedding." he pouts. "well anyways i have a surprise for you" he smiles. "oh no, i hate your surprises. last time this happened my arm broke" i shove clothes into the washer.

"YOU IDIOT" i yell. "hey! we can't stay at the old house forever." he slips the key in and unlocks the door to a huge house. "well i didn't think you would get a whole DYNASTY" i scream and it echoed. "calm down" he holds onto my shoulders. "what are we gonna do with all of this space and you know god damn well if you say kids i'll hurt you" i point my finger at him.

"maybe pets? it was jimmy's old house" he runs upstairs. "now it makes sense" i whisper to myself and then followed him upstairs. "isn't it nice?" he asks. "yeah for jeffree star" i say quietly. he shakes his head. he walks downstairs. "also if you want that one song in the wedding, our first dance has to be to one direction. deal?" i put my hand out. "fine" he shakes it.

rehearsal dinner
jimmy rented out a restaurant for tonight and it's really nice and fancy. i don't know why rehearsal dinners have to do with weddings, i don't get it. wasn't sure what to wear so i just put on a dress and called it good. "what's for dinner?" i put my chin on chris' shoulder. "i dont know, probably something fancy like calamari" he shutters. my face twists thinking of it.

"phew! false alarm it's just stake" chris whispers into my ear, making me laugh. he taps on his glass and stands up. "thank you all for coming and thank you for not killing us yet for being the worlds most annoying couple. i wanna just say i can't wait to marry this girl, and i'm glad she actually said yes. in the pouring rain" we all laugh at him. "i can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you" he looks down at me. i smile widely at him. "cheers!" he holds up his glass.

"i feel so grown up, it's weird. felt like i've been 17 for my whole life" i play around with my food. "well you're 24 so you're definitely older than your mind is set on" chris says helping me cut my stake. "who's supposed to walk you down the isle on saturday" chandler asks me. "don't know, i'm not sure my dad can afford a flight down here" i shrug. there wasn't any good conversation just little ones that didn't last long.

"that was boring" chris says while brushing his teeth. "tell me about it" i wiped the barely blended foundation off my face. "hope the wedding's more fun" i walk out to the living room. "when do we have to move in the new house?" i ask. "i'd like to do it before the wedding" he shrugs. "BEFORE?? we have less than 48 hours until the wedding. cant it wait?" i groan. "we can start right now" he grabs boxes. "no, it's 12am im too out of it" i cross my arms.

"cat, now" he threatens to drag me. "alright" i snarl back. we go into the bathroom and started to get our shampoos, brushes etc. "i want us to sleep there tonight" he smile. "we can't move the big stuff by ourselves" i said taping a box. "true but we can at least get the mattress or if we can't you're weak" he packs up the food. "oh it's on" i challenge him.
