Karn and Yudhisthir were running around playing. Kunti and Madri were making flower garlands for the puja I walked to them
"Kunti," I called Kunti looked at me
"I think it is time for Karn's second Anuj's birth." I said
"Yes, Aray." said Mardi, Kunti and I looked at her
"The first feature of a king is his dharm and the second is strength, Didi. Your first putra, Yudhisthir will be known for his Dharm and Karm. But a raja's deeds and justness receive respect only when he has the strength to protect that Karm. You have a putra, Didi who has the strength of a hundred elephants in his arms. He should be like the wind, when it comes to strength. Just like when the Vayu Dev gets angry he destructs the forests, brings about cyclones he destructs mountains and converts them to dust. The same strength should be possessed by your putra, Didi. Didi, you should chant the mantra and invoke Vayu Dev." said Mardi
"She is right, Kunti. Invoke Vayu Dev." I said, Kunti smiled and nodded
Kunti and I went to the cliffs we joined our hands Kunti chanted the mantra a wind storm began Kunti and I fell to our knees. The wind calmed down and Vayu Dev appeared we bowed our heads Vayu Dev raised his hands blessing us
"At your invitation, I have appeared, Kunti. I am here to fulfil the varadan of Maharishi Durvasa." said Vayu Dev
"Then bless me with a putra as powerful as you, Dev." said Kunti
"Half the body of your putra is made of Vajra, Kunti. I myself will reside in his arms. His enemies will shiver on hearing of his achievements. He will be very powerful. He will have the biggest appetite. The whole world will know him by the name of Vrikodar Bheem." said Vayu Dev he raised Kunti held out both her hands and Bheem appeared in her arms he looked big for a newborn baby Vayu Dev disappeared, I stepped next to Kunti and stroked Bheem's head
"My Bheem." I said
Kunti's P.O.V.
Aray stepped next to Kunti and stroked Bheem's head
"My Bheem." said
"I'll go and get milk for him." said Aray and went, I heard a lion's roar and dropped Bheem he fell down the cliff
"BHEEM!" I screamed as he fell down the cliff Aray came running
"What happened?! Where's Bheem?!" asked Aray
"He fell." I cried. We ran down the cliff and saw Bheem on a huge rock
"Bheem..." I gasped there was not a search on him I picked up Bheem
"Kunti look!" said Aray pointing at the huge rock the was a huge crack in it I looked at Bheem
Sixteen months later
Pandu's P.O.V.
Kunti and I went to the cliffs we joined our hands Kunti chanted the mantra a storm began if started raining heavily. The rain calmed down and Indra Dev appeared we bowed our heads Indra Dev raised his hands blessing us
"I am pleased by your prayers, Kunti. On Maharishi Durvasa's mantra command I've come to bless you with a putra." said Indra Dev
"I am very grateful to you, Devraj. The way you are the greatest among Devtas, similarly, I want my putra to be the greatest human being." said Kunti
"Your wish will be fulfilled, Kunti. Your putra will be distinguished among humankind. The way I am the basis of heaven's potential, similarly, your putra will be the basis of Earth's potential. He will be physically strong. He will be the most determined. His heart will melt at human misery. He will be very soft-hearted and due to his kind-heart that is, his generosity the whole world will know him as Arjun." said Indra Dev he raised Kunti held out both her hands and Arjun appeared in her arms Kunti swang in her arms him Indra Dev disappeared. I stepped next to Kunti and took Arjun in my hand and kissed his forehead we went back to the hut Karn and Yudhisthir came running they stopped in front of us
