Okay...super late but I still want to try...
Keith was waiting in the garden pacing. She should have been her by now. What if she changed her mind. What if she listened to the rumors. Or hell, even the truth. That was enough to scare any sane girl away. Sighing, he looked at his watch again. He leaned against the garden wall. What did he expect?
Sighing he slid down until he was sitting on the ground. He closed his eyes and tried to center by breathing. Tried to pretend his heart wasn't broken. "Fuck."
Suddenly he heard movement, lifting his head up, he saw her face framed by the moonlight. Jumping up, he breathed, "Katie?"
She turned towards his voice, "Keith?"
Both moved simultaneously and he wrapped her in his arms. "Katie, thank goodness." They stood wrapped in each other's arms just soaking in each other's scent and warmth. Home. Keith didn't know why she chose him, but damned if he'd give her up.
