Our relationship got stronger than before after that night. We always consult each other for our major decisions.

And now, here I am at my table in the office, busy with work. At night, Gray talked to me about me not working and focusing on the kids. Well, I didn't give him an answer as of now but I'm also thinking about it as well.

"Al." I'm shocked that he went outside of his office instead of using the intercom.

"Anong masamang espiritu ang nagpalabas sayo sa loob ng opisina mo?" I joked but he's all serious. "Ang seryoso mo naman, Ga." bawi ko rin kaagad.

"I'm going on a trip for three days para doon sa bagong resort na ipapatayo natin sa Batangas." he informed.

"Oh, that's why my Ga is serious." I teased. "Okay. I'll clear your schedule for three days."

"And Al, I'm the only one who's going. You are needed here since Anton is also busy with the company. Can you be the acting CEO until I came back?" this is the first time na hindi ako kasama sa trip for business pero on the other hand, okay na rin pala ito kasi makakapag-focus pa ako sa nalalapit na birthday party ng mga bata.

"Sure." I smiled sweetly at him. It will be just for three days. Kaya mo naman yon, Aviva, hindi ba? "But can you make it home before the kids' birthday?" I followed up with a question.

"I will never miss it for the world." That made me feel assured.

"Are you going now?"

"Yeah. Uuwi lang ako sandali to get some stuff and I'll go straight to Batangas. Is that okay with you?"

"Is it okay with you na ako ang mag-handle hangga't wala ka?" tanong ko pabalik sa kanya.

"Of course, Al. You know that I trust you." it made me smile again. Our trust in each other really strengthened to the point that he's entrusting me his company. Parang sobrang pagtitiwala naman yata iyon. "And besides, I'll check up on you from time to time. Alam mo namang hindi kumpleto ang araw ko kapag hindi kita nakikita o naririnig man lang."

"Ay sus, lalaki ka! At nambola ka pa! Umuwi ka na at ayusin mo na ang mga dadalhin mo. Siguraduhin mong dala mo lahat ha? Ako ng bahala sa kumpanya mo, this will live for three days without you just don't make it four."

"I'm Maya. Sir Ashton wants me to tell you that I will be your assistant for now. He said that you must work in his office while he's out." I want to object because I'm okay with my place right now pero naisip ko kung saan naman uupo si Maya kung sakali. Alam ko rin naman sa sarili ko na kakailanganin ko ng katulong sa tatlong araw kong pagiging in-charge.

"Okay." pagsuko ko na lang din. Tinulungan nya akong maglipat ng mga mahahalaga kong bagay sa loob ng office at sya ang pumalit sa akin doon sa labas.

After a while, nakita ko na lang ang sarili ko na kumportableng nakikipag-usap kay Maya ganon na rin siya sa akin. Matalik na kaibigan pala sya ni Grace. Inaamin ko rin, masaya siyang kasama. This working day ended not as bad as I think it is. It ended well, actually.
