"Okay," Harry said loudly.

The mutterings of conversation died down and the sounds of wands lowering stopped as everyone's attention was back on Harry. Hermione and Ron, who were next to him, waited as well. You were struggling to put your wand back in your pocket but decided it was best to just keep it in your hand.

"Right, we are going to be doing the stupefy charm now, so, partner up," he finished, again the sound of moving, talking and preparing engulfed the Room of Requirement.

You walked along and were met by a pretty, black haired girl that you shared a house with. She turned to look at you and said, with a look at her annoyed friend, "Do you have a partner?"

You shook your head and her friend started to giggle mockingly. Cho snapped her neck to look at her and said, "Will you stop? Fine, If you want we can be partners." She turned to look at you and gave you an apologetic look as she walked with her friend to prepare to stupefy each other.

You were left standing with no partner and gave a sort of frown. You looked around and the leader of the DA meeting was striding towards you, smiling happily at you. "Do you want to be my partner?" He asked you, giving you a grin again.

"Sure, Harry, thanks," you acknowledged, smiling at him and feeling your heart pound under your chest.

He walked farther from you and when he called ready, you nodded, you casted, "Stupefy!" Harry's body rose in the air and fell with a thud on the ground. Everyone in the room gasped and turned to look with admiration towards you, others completely not believing you did it. You were appalled and you jogged towards him to make sure he was okay.

"I'm sorry, Harry," you apologized quickly, extending your hand to pick him up.

He grinned again, staring at you with a new light he complimented, "You did amazing, Y/n. I didn't know you could be such a stunner." He smiled nervously and a red color spread over his face.

"Thank you, Harry," you blushed, hoping that the last sentence had two meanings.

Cho came walking towards the both of you, an evident frown on her face. "Harry, I need help with my Expelliarmus charm," she said, completely avoiding your gaze.

"We did Expelliarmus the last meeting, we aren't doing that right now," Harry answered, his tone completely indifferent. He turned to look at you, his face softer and his tone noticeably nicer, "Here, let's go, Y/n, I can help you work on your Patronus, I know you were struggling with it." He grabbed your hand and walked with you towards the center of the room, leaving Cho standing dumbfounded.

"Harry, what are you doing?" You asked him after the both of you were settled in a space to practice.

"I'm sorry, I just don't want Cho to think that I still fancy her. I don't anymore," Harry resulted, looking ashamed at even admitting it.

"Really? I thought you two liked each other."

"I thought so too but she is going out with Michael now and besides, we haven't spoken a word at each other since October and I don't reckon I want to be with her anymore. I like someone else now," he explained, shrugging and avoiding eye contact with you.

"Then why does she seem so upset that we talked?" You asked him, stealing a glance at an angry Cho.

"Oh, when we were seeing each other, I guess, she always brought up your name and accused me of liking you. She did that with Hermione too," he said, his tone becoming bitter as he remembered how angry it made him.

"My name? And Hermione's? But we are your friends! What did she say about me?" You asked him, anger boiling inside you. You hated when people made up things about you when they don't even know you. You were furious with her because she also used Hermione's name, a dear friend that you loved with your entire heart.

"She said that you always seemed to be with me all the time and she thinks that you fancy me," he answered, his face making a sheepish grin.

"And what if I do? I always respected... whatever it was the both of you had going on. There was no reason to think that I would intervene with that, I am going to go talk to her," you stated, and then you snuck a glance at Harry who was wearing a huge grin on his face.

"You fancy me?" He asked quietly, his eyes shimmering under the spells others were casting.

You flushed and cleared your throat. "I think I still do-"

"I fancy you too," he interrupted, his face turning pink.

Cho came walking towards the both of you again, probably eavesdropping, this time staring straight at you. "What are you doing with him?"

"I could be asking you the same question, aren't you going out with Michael? Leave us alone," you snarked back.

Cho, who was obviously not expecting this, stared open-mouthed at Harry. "So, I was right, wasn't I? You and her... I knew it."

"I never intervened with the whatever kind of relationship you both had. Don't know if you noticed but I even distanced myself from my best friend to make sure you wouldn't think about that. I don't go destroying others relationships and Harry tells me that you are going out with someone else, respect him and leave Harry alone," you argued, feeling the monster of anger curl in your stomach. "And keep mine and Hermione's name out of your mouth. We aren't the reason it didn't work."

Cho looked like she was slapped in the face and turned to look at a smirking Harry. "You liked her didn't you? That's why you didn't want to talk to me anymore."

Harry shook his head and corrected, "You were always talking about Cedric and I understand that you still are mourning his loss. I don't want to think about that anymore so that is why I stopped. Besides, you were mad when I told you about Hermione wanting us to go with her. I'm sorry Cho, but I don't like you anymore."

Cho whose eyes were filled with angry tears stormed out of the meeting, her judgmental friend walking behind her. There was no denying that everyone heard, everywhere you looked, a pair of eyes met yours. Harry felt the same and announced, "The meeting is over! Everyone did great and we will work on it after the holidays."

Everyone dismissed themselves from Harry and soon the room was deserted except by you and Harry. You stared around at the room feeling still a little unfinished and wishing that you could have told Cho off more. Harry was staring at you and motioned upwards.

"Mistletoe," he whispered, smiling widely.

You blushed and said, "Yep, mistletoe. I wonder why it appeared here."

Harry shrugged and was staring at your lips. "I don't know...but I have luck, can I?" He asked, still staring at your lips.

You giggled and you both shared a kiss under the mistletoe, feeling that nothing can make you feel bad because Harry was such an amazing kisser. You would deal with Cho later, feeling giddy at how Hermione will respond at how you stood up for yourself and her.
