I love you

You and Thalia have been dating for a little bit over a year now and you were still hiding your relationship from Artemis. You've gotten used to her leaving for the hunt but that didn't mean you didn't miss her. It was time for bed and you had snuck into the Zeus cabin, you were currently laying in the bed and trying to fall asleep. A few minutes pass and you were just starting to fall asleep when you heard a creaking noise, the sound of the door opening. It was probably just Jason visiting camp, but why would he be visiting camp so late? You had no idea, but he wouldn't mind if you slept in their cabin

"Hey Jason"

"Not quite"

It sounded like Thalia, but it couldn't be her, she was supposed to be on the hunt. You open your eyes and turn your head, as your eyes adjust to the darkness the person gets closer. Instead of seeing Jason you see Thalia, punk clothes and all, the only thing missing was her lieutenants circlet. She stops at the edge of the bed and smiles down at you

"Hey y/n, miss me?"

You rub your eyes, still confused as to why she's back so early

"Of course I missed you, but why are you back so early?"

"Well... long story"

She kicks off her shoes and lifts up the covers, she climbs into bed and wraps her arms around your waist. You immediately snuggle up to her

"So tell me the story, did you guys decide to come back early?"

"Not exactly... I kind of um, quit"

You look up at Thalia in confusion

"Why? I mean I fully support your decision, but why?"

Thalia just smiles, her hand comes up and starts idly playing with a strand of your hair

"For you. I missed you and I wanted to spend more time with you"

"Are you sure you want to do this? I mean I know how happy being the lieutenant of Artemis made you and-"

You feel her soft lips press against yours, before you can kiss back she pulls away

"Nothing makes me happier than you, y/n"

You feel yourself blush, Thalia chuckles and tucks a loose strand of hair behind your ear

"And... um, there's another reason I quit"

"What is it?"

"I love you y/n"

You feel a wave of emotions wash over you, you've been waiting forever to hear those three words

"I love you too Thals"

She smiles and kisses your forehead

"We should get some sleep"

You respond by yawning, she buries her face in your hair. A few minutes pass and you eventually fall asleep in her arms
