It has been a week since Natasha left. You call or text her every night. Tonight it was 1 AM when she called you. Why were you up? You were reading fanfics. You answer the call.
"Hey love." You say. You hear heavy breathing. "Whats wrong?"
"I had a nightmare." She says sounding disapointed in herself. "Sorry for waking you"
"You're find love. I was awake anyways." You say. You can tell she is tense. "How about I simg you a song." You say.
"I would like that." She says.
You start singing "The other night dear, as I lay sleeping
I dreamed I held you in my arms
But when I awoke, dear, I was mistaken
So I hung my head and I cried."
Her breathing calms down.
"You are my sunshine, my only sunshine
You make me happy when skies are gray
You'll never know dear, how much I love you
Please don't take my sunshine away"
She sounds calmer over the phone.
"Thank you baby" She says
"Any time love" You say.
"Goodnight baby" She says.
"Goodnight love." You say and hang up. You don't know that she will end up singing that song to you one day for a diffrent reason.
