CLARK
I'm sitting on the sofa while watching a movie with Archi because Jen is having a rest inside my room - on my bed.
I am well aware that she's really tired and I have no idea why but, I have an idea. I'm just not yet sure about it.
"Sa tingin mo? Napagod si Nica sa paggawa ng commission, 'no? Para mabayaran 'yung utang ng tatay niya?" I nodded.
"Yeah, that's what I've been thinking too. Damn that bastard," I stated then, sighed.
"I really can't believe that he can still do gambling even though they already have a lot of debts," I commented in disbelief.
"'Yon nga eh. Hindi man lang maawa sa mga anak niya dahil sinasalo nila 'yong problema eh," Archi said.
We look at Jen's bag and I grab it. I pull out her phone and I read kuya Julian's name on the screen. I take a deep sigh and answer the call.
"Hello, Kuya Julian... It's me, Clark." I said.
"Clark? Nasaan si Jen? Bakit ikaw ang sumagot sa tawag ko?"
"I'm sorry for answering your call but, Jen is sleeping because she's too tired. I let her rest for a while." I said.
"Gano'n ba? Sige, nasaan kayo?" He asked.
"I'm going to text you the address, kuya," I said then, hang up. I message him my address and wait for him to come here.

After several minutes, someone is knocking on my door and I stand up from the sofa. I open the door and I notice kuya Julian.
"Hello, kuya. Pasok ka po," I said then, he walked inside my unit.
"She's still sleeping, kuya. Don't worry, we didn't do anything to her," I inform him immediately.
"Hello po, Archimedes po," Archi introduce himself and they both shake hands.
"Alam ko ang tungkol sa inyo, Clark. May tiwala ako sa 'yo na hindi mo siya sasaktan," Kuya Julian told me.
"I know, kuya. I'll take good care of her," I said and he smiled. He look at the canvas and stares at it.
"Jen did that but, it's still not yet finish, kuya," I said and he nodded.
"Ngayon ko lang nalaman na magaling pala siya sa ganito kahit na matagal ko nang alam na mahilig siya sa pagdo-drawing," Kuya Julian inform us.
"Lagi din siyang pinapatigil ni papa dahil sa wala naman daw makukuhang pera sa mga ganiyan pero, nagkamali siya. Dahil dito ay nabubuhay kami at nababayaran ang mga utang namin," he added.
"He's really a selfish bastard," I commented and he nodded.
"Kumusta po pala ang utang niyo? Sabi ni Jen ay medyo malaki daw po ang utang niyo dahil sa pagsusugal ng tatay niyo," Archi said.
"Sa tuwing nababayaran namin ang utang ay dumadagdag naman ito. Nakakainis na," Kuya Julian uttered.
"Grabe naman 'yon. Nakakainis naman ang ganiyan. Abusado ah," Archi commented in disbelief.
"Maraming salamat dahil sa nandiyan kayo para kay Jen. Wala naman akong talent kaya hanggang overtime lang ako sa trabaho para madagdagan ang ipon," he said.
"That's nothing, kuya. We're willing to help Jen as her friend and boyfriend," I said and he smiled.
"Kuya? Bakit ka nandito saka paano mo nalaman na nandito ako?" Jen asked when she walked out of the room.
