I woke up when a guy picked me up from the car, they had to drug me twice but it wasn't enough for me to be completely knocked out. I pretended to be unconscious so I could figure out a way to get home, and I had to figure it out soon.

He held me tight but not so tight it could suffocate me. 'Why is he holding me like this?' I asked myself. It was almost affectionate as if he didn't want to leave me. We entered a pretty room, it was big and the bed was super comfortable and soft.

He left the room but not before ordering a maid to clean and dress me. I could feel his eyes on me and when the door closed the maid walked towards me to change me.

She tried to lift my shirt and when she did I put my hand on her mouth to stop her from screaming. You can see the look in her eyes, fear. I felt bad she had done nothing wrong. But I had to get out of here. I asked her quietly if she wasn't going to scream and she nodded yes. "Oke, I am going to remove my hand and then you are going to tell me the fastest way out of here." I said calmly and she nodded again.

I made her sit on the bed and I tied her hands behind her back. "The fastest way out of here?" I asked again. "You want to make sure you get past the guards that guard the back, if you go to the front you will be noticed. Then you should go into the forest and walk about a mile and then there is a little stream. Walk away from it and walk straight until you see the city. I can't help you more than this" she said quietly.

"Okay, thank you and I'm sorry for this, tell them to stop trying to find me, please?" I said not giving her time to respond. I had already put a part of the covers in her mouth.

I walked out and looked out for the guards who guarded the back, and it didn't take long for me to get to the forests. All I had to do now was walk to the stream and the little city the maid told me about.

I walked away but I couldn't help but feel sorry for the maid, I truly hoped that they wouldn't kill her for letting me go. I knew the people who kidnapped me weren't exactly innocent. My mind got the best of me and couldn't help but think of the hold he had me in and why Elias and Mattew weren't allowed to hurt me. 'Did he like me or something?' But that thought left as soon as it came.

I finally reached the little stream and I knew that my kidnappers must have realised I left or escaped. I didn't think it was that easy and that they would put me in such a nice room.

"Okay, now walk in the opposite direction." I told myself. I hoped that my kidnappers went the other way because I don't think I can fight more of his men and win. I felt helpless, what if she lied and I went the wrong way, what if I came back too late and he has already killed her. The thought of this made me walk a little faster and it turned into a fast jog.

I realised after a while that it was about 2 am and I hoped that he didn't realise that I never came home. Luckily not long after I entered the small city, I felt relieved. I know this town and it wasn't far from my apartment.

I started to run like a maniac because I saw some weird-looking men, bodyguards, and deep down I knew that those were the men my kidnapper had sent after me. Not long after I saw the men I reached the library and I tried to hide in the alley next to it but I was too late, one of them saw me. 'Fuck' I had to knock him out, I mean they couldn't find out where I lived that's a big no-no when you escape from your kidnappers, and that was if they didn't already know.

The guy came closer and to my luck, he didn't scream that he had found me. 'Cocky bastard' I thought but the actions of the 'cocky bastard' might save mine and her life so I won't complain. I didn't even try to run away. I knew I had to knock him out and run home without alerting the others. 'Oke let's go' was my last thought before the guy came into hitting range.

I have read enough books and experience to know where to hit to knock someone out without killing the person, and I have to do that as soon as possible. 'Here we go'. He came close enough for me to hit him, I think he wanted to grab me. Before he could he was knocked out on the ground, I was pretty proud of myself. Who knocks out a muscled 6.3 man at 2 in the morning. I mean I'm only 5,6 and I definitely do not have that much muscle.

'Oké stop praising yourself, you gotta run!' I said to myself. I ran like no tomorrow. Not a minute later I entered my apartment building and was sprinting up the stairs.

I sighed and entered my apartment and it wasn't a surprise to me that Dimitri was passed out on the couch. He probably drank after I left and didn't bother to think of me, he knows I won't run away.

I went into the bathroom to check on the stitches I put in a few weeks ago and thank the lords they are still intact. I cleaned myself a bit before going to bed and I went out as soon as my head hit my pillow.
