Way number 10: Make Dedede give him a pay cut. This can be by getting him in trouble or making it look like he didn't do anything. Then, make it obvious you were behind it.
Me: Dedede, Meta Knight hasn't been doing his Knight Duties recently. He's been slacking off and he has been talking badly about you.
Dedede: Really? He has the nerve to talk about me behind my back?
Me: Yes, sir. He said you were incredibly lazy and defenceless and do nothing for yourself and bring misery to your subjects.
(Dedede is disheartened by these words and commands Bandana Waddle Dee to his side. He instructs him to get Meta Knight. He returns with Meta Knight a few minutes later.)
Meta Knight: What do you want with me, sire?
Dedede: I've heard you've been spreading false propaganda abouts me! And you've been slacking off, ya little hypocrite!
(Meta Knight breaks into a nervous sweat.)
Meta Knight: Sire, that is untrue! I would never speak badly about you or slack off.
Dedede: You're having a pay cut for this, ya bat-winged demon!
(Meta Knight is upset by this.)
