Tears well up in my eyes, threatening to spill over. I can't breathe; I'm drowning. I stop listening to Kendall after hearing Ben's name, followed by the tragic accident. It can't be. I just saw him an hour ago. It must be some cruel joke. Why would Kendall say these things to me? I hear screaming; it's so loud that I have to cover my ears with my shaky hands. Make it stop!
