"Where are you guys going?" James asked once he saw Remus and Aurora walk into the kitchen, dressed to leave the house.

"Out." Aurora answered, moving to make a coffee.

"Well no shit," Sirius said. "But where?"

"I'd give up if I were you Pads, she hasn't told me either." Remus sighed, sitting down next to his friend.

"And I'm not going to." She added, drinking from her mug. "Do you guys have a car by any chance?"

"Aha!" James pointed at her. "So you need a car to reach your destination!"

"Yes. I think you'll find most of the time you need a car to reach your destination." Aurora replied, and looked to Lily to answer.

"The keys are somewhere in the drawer over there." Lily gestured.

"Thank you." She smiled and walked to collect them.

"How did you get Remus up so early?" Lois commented.

Aurora moved items around, searching for the car keys beneath all of the clutter. "I am just that talented."

"Sure you are," Remus snorted. "She released Harry on me."

Aurora tried and failed to suppress her laugh at remembering the sight of Harry climbing over Remus, consistently poking him whilst simultaneously singing off key.

"He was very effective," She told them, walking back over to Remus now she had the keys in her hand. "But now we've got to get going. See you!"

Aurora grabbed Remus' hand, pulling him out of his seat and out of the house.

"Seriously though," Remus said. "Where are we going?"

"I am taking you to my favourite place," She replied, starting the car. "And then you're going to take me to yours."

"Okay...," He nodded his head. "Why?"

"Because if I'm spending another day in the house with nothing to do, I will try and plot more ways in which I would kill Benjy, and then obviously all of you."

"You are so lovely," Remus said sarcastically. "And where is your favourite place?"

"Do you have no patience?" She teased, pulling out of the driveway.

"Only if I know what I'm waiting for."

Instead of responding, Aurora looked over at him, briefly removing her eyes from the road, and grinned. "You might be waiting for a while."

Remus sighed and put the radio on to fill the surprisingly comfortable silence.

30 minutes later, they were parked outside of a diner.

"An American diner...?" He asked curiously.

Aurora smiled and nodded. "Yes, now come on." She entered the diner and quickly moved to a corner booth in the back, so you could see the rest of the customers.
