Kylo Ren enters his quarters dejected and utterly miserable. He peels off his mask, setting it down on the little table with a dull thunk. His cloak laps at his heels as he pauses to take in the sight. These new quarters were stunningly similar to his old ones; with a few alterations, of course.

The bed that had once been sitting in the center against the black wall was now pushed into the corner beneath a massive bay window, that offered him a view at this glittering stars. The charcoal grey sheets pulled taut and tucked into the metallic frame, waiting for him to occupy the comfortable mattress. A small kitchen sat to his left and a miniature living room to his right. Both for leisure but Kylo doubted he would be using both very much. A door beside the closet led into the refresher, the shower of which Kylo needed to put to use later.

He didn't know why, but he was half expecting to see you in here. Lounging around in one of those pretty dresses or suits. Sprawled across his bed in one of his shirts with the blanket pulled to your chin. The sound of water splashing gently while you soaked in the tub to relax your muscles after a long day of training.

The twinge of annoyance in his chest is pushed aside as he begins to strip himself of his robes. The cold air in the refresher nips at his bare skin. Kylo braces his hands against the slick black countertop beside the sink. He lifts his head, observing his reflection in the mirror. Tired and rugged; what else was he expecting?

Dark circles beneath his dulled eyes and slightly sunken cheeks, putting emphasis on the scar running down his face. Even his hair looked depressed, having lost its shine and thickness as it just barely meets his shoulders. His eyes flicker down to his battle-worn body. He was still brawny and big, but he felt weak. The scars littering his marked skin felt more like painful remainders rather than evidence of his strength.

He lifts a hand, calloused fingers brushing against the softer skin of his face. They trail along the thin scar etched across the length of his cheek. Kylo could still remember that day vividly. It was no longer the feeling of defeat and the sting of pain that haunted him, but rather your cries of pain while the Troopers dragged you from the med-bay. He sighs, continuing his journey of exploring his own features.

Kylo's hand glides along his sloped jawline and up to the divot where jaw met ear. He pushes through the thick strands of black hair to find the outline of his ears. An odd mixture of embarrassment and laughter rolls through his chest. You had teased him about them as children and it was all fun and games, but now he couldn't help but wonder if you were serious. You probably weren't; you teased him about everything.

He grunts softly, pushing away from the counter.

For the past few days, the distance between you and Kylo had been lengthening and closing. One round of agreements would lead to two rounds of disagreements. He'd been flooded with meetings and informally formal briefings about his duties. Briefings, that he was already familiar with. It didn't give him much time to make things up to you.

The sound of water pouring fills the room as the shower turns on with a loud hiss. As he enters the glass chamber, he couldn't help but think about what you were doing. Kylo closes his eyes, allowing the water to run in streams over his head. It soothes his tired muscles and warms his skin. His fingers massage product into his hair and yet he couldn't stop wishing they were yours instead. Your fingers threading through his thick locks, working the stiffness from his muscles, washing over his skin lovingly.

Kylo sighs, jaw tensing as his imagination begins to wander again. Perhaps you were taking a shower now as well. Just a few doors down in the opposite corridor. He lets out a low grunt at the memory of fucking you in the shower. The familiar feeling of arousal crashes into him in waves, followed automatically by his length hardening.
