Emma storms forward with Ray, dragging me with them. She's so fast with her strides that I didn't prepare for which made me stumble a few times.
A full-on argument between everyone eventually breaks out until it calms down again, I let them have their moment as I look around at all the dead bodies, my eyes trailing over to where her body was.
My eyes widen dramatically.
She isn't there anymore.
I turn around to see her rise from behind Norman.
"NORMAN!" I yell, he jumps back but her mouth extends to catch him in her mouth. Cislo jumps ahead.
CHOMP!
I cover my mouth as I maneuver around her.
There goes Cislo's leg...
I thought as the smell of both dried and fresh demon blood reek the room.
"She's eating everything she can get!" Vincent yells, pushing his glasses upon his face.
"I destroyed her core though!! I know I did!" yells Norman in disbelief.
I growl, "SHE HAS TWO CORES!" I scream back.
Everyone looks at me frantically.
"How do you know that??"
Asks Barbara fast.
I roll out of the way of her raging arms, swatting at everything.
"GEE, I DUNNO. LOOK AT HER, YOU AIRHEADS! SHE'S ALIVE STILL AFTER NORMAN HIT HER CORE. THAT MEANS SHE HAS TWO CORES!!!" I waved my arms in frustration.
"Vincent! Take everyone else to the base! Now!" orders Norman.
There's a slight hesitation, but when a tentacle almost whips and grabs Barbara he understands the urgency in his voice and does as he's told.
She eventually forms into everyone she's eaten up until now, a small hallway forms.
And a new her walks out.
Out of everyone, I am the most petrified. Seeing her like this, seemingly gotten taller, with no face.
You look...
Different...
Completely.
Any niceness I could have ever scraped from you in my lifetime...
It's all fading away right in front of me.

She looks at her fingers, which also seem to have gotten longer.
"Ah, pure joy!" she spins around, her same dress flowing with it.
"All of them, together here! The highest grades from Gracefield, Plant 3!" I feel her unseeable gaze travel to me. But the others don't know it, because they can't see it.
