We appeared in front of a very large gate, and just a gate. The rest seemed like jagged rocks and nothing else around us.

Emma puts her hands on the gate and reads what's written on the gate, I take a deep breath in and remember to heal my wound.

"Here we go," I say, wide-eyed.

I'm so excited!

I unconsciously sneer at the thought of meeting the god of all demons, the one who knows about my lucky necklace and the one who can help us change the world. Ray looks at me with a confused look.

I look up at him and change to a stoic expression, we push open the gate and enter.

I shake my head when now I realize Ray and Emma aren't with me.

(So, I found it a bit confusing how the flashbacks for going to the Seven Walls was, so I will be tailoring these flashback-ish things to Y/n's past. So sorry if this may be inaccurate)

Two large gate doors are in the middle of a dark nothing, I push them open and walk into a large fancy, gold lined and chandelier infested ballroom.

This is too soon.

I thought begrudgingly as I wandered around the dead silent room.

Eventually, the dead silence is filled with growling and chewing sounds, I take a deep breath and peek into another large room.

And...

There's my mother.

I see my younger self walk up to her, I didn't have an altered body then and had the demon hands with twelve fingers and long feet.

"Mama," I say, tugging on one of her braids lightly.

"Mama," I say again after she ignores me.

"..."

"Mama-"

"Shut up! Can't you see I'm busy?!" she yells, a faceful of food.

Somehow, eating as much as she did, she never got herself messy.

Even as my older self, I felt the fire burning in her eyes when she looked at me, even if it was hidden behind her iron tough mask.

Younger me sighs and waltzed out of the room.

Wow, I've gotten so used to seeing myself with more human characteristics I barely recognize myself.

I thought.

Younger me doesn't seem to notice I exist and walks right through me with a sad look

Younger me doesn't seem to notice I exist and walks right through me with a sad look. I follow myself until she suddenly stops and turns around with a blank look.

Younger me hands myself a black eyeball with a red slit in it.

The eye opens, "Let's play a game of rewind." it speaks.
